WTF Thursday

Eggless Egg Salad from The Common Market on WF's Rosemary Sourdough for breakfast
TJ's Crispy Chicken Tenders for lunch.
More Dolmeh from Shish Kabob Express for an afternoon snack.
Veggie Chili from The Common Market for dinner.
More Hummus and Pita from Shish Kabob Express for dessert.
So all my food today was prepared somewhere else. Worked out really well.

Thanks for the reminder about TJ's Crispy Chicken Tenders. I'm going to look for those the next time I go there. Otherwise, I'll shell out for the Gardein kind.

I hope you had a good fourth, and that your dogs didn't get all agitated from fireworks like mine did.

A snack! Never thought I'd see the day.
I think I figured out what's so funny about the egg salad - it looks so spreadable, like yellow hummus, rather than chunky like tofu egg salad, you know? None of this is a bad thing.

If it's hot outside, I tend to eat easy meals or prepared by someone else - usually a good bet.

When I was in VA last July, we went to Old Town Alexandria and ate a place that had a vegan wrap of some kind. Do you ever make it down there? It seemed like a cute place (minus the dirty Potomac).

That's the way I like my food- prepared by someone else. :)

I've been going through hummus a lot lately. It's so addicting!

Oh lordy, is it Thursday? I can't figure out what day it is.

How do the TJ tenders compare to the Gardein? They look a lot like them.

I like tofu "egg" salad...don't eat any often enough. That chili has got me craving beans!

Hope you had a chilled 4th and that the canines weren't too stressed by the hoopla.

Yes! Dolmeh as a snack is definitely a good call, as is the hummus for dessert :) Sill wish Gardein was gluten free because I love those tenders. It has been too hot to cook so a little help never hurts!

Hope you had a great 4th!

Hey Now!!!!!

Miss Rachel, I hope you had a good 4th too. I'll try to catch up with your post soon.

FF, I'm not a snacker, that's for sure. The Dolmeh was more like Lunch Part Deux.

Ingrid, we don't do Old Town, Alexandria. That's Mr. SV's old girlfriend's territory. We don't want an unfortunate encounter.

Molly, if I could train my man to prepare my meals too, I'd really be happy!

Rose, the TJ's Chicken Tenders are just repackaged Gardein Tenders. But with at least $1 off.

VaVa, I think of you everytime I eat or see a Stuffed Grape Leaf. Pretty sure everyone does.
