After sleeping in late, Mr. SV & I headed to Berkeley Springs for lunch at Earth Dog Cafe. I had the 'Veggie Sandwich' $7.25 Hummus, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Corn Relish, Black Olives and Banana Peppers on Ciabatta Bread. The grub was good, but service was dismal.

On the up side, Mr. SV made Spaghetti with TJ's Meatless Meatballs for dinner...

The last of the Chocolate Chip Cookies from The Common Market for dessert..

Planning to try and track down some different local vegan grub tomorrow.  Will I succeed?

Veggie Burger & Fries $6.50 at Earth Dog Cafe for lunch.

Tofu Pups with Texas Pete and Potato Salad for dinner.

A Magical Coconut Cookie Bar and a half for dessert.

Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot.

Earth Dog Cafe, Berkeley Springs, WV

We had a very delicious and inexpensive lunch today at The Earth Dog Cafe.

The restaurant strives to be laid back and funky.

I ordered the Spicy Veggie Sandwich:Hummus, Black Olives, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Banana Peppers and Corn on Ciabatta roll w/ Fries for $6.25. It was messy, but so good. Plus the fries were amongst the best I've ever had. Very similar to Thrasher's Fries on the Ocean City, MD boardwalk.
