Friday, November 30th

Bleh biddy bleh...
Crispy Burger and Fries from Loving Hut for lunch.
I thought I wouldn't ever eat again after that lunch, but I somehow managed to ingest some Boca Burgers and the last of the Chard for dinner.
That's all. Not the most exciting post, but I'm just glad I made it through the week.

Thursday, November 29th

Blah...blah...blah...
Lunch with Mom today at La Sandia, where we started with the Guacamole made table side $9.95...
and I had the Vegetable Fajitas $13.95 clockwise from left: Refried Beans, Rice, Grilled Vegetables (Squash, Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Corn), Guac, Salsa, Tortillas.
Leftover Spaghetti with TJ's Meatless Meatballs for dinner.
And if this post wasn't exciting enough already, here's a pic of Thumper relaxing in the bathroom sink.
Guess where I was sitting when taking this photo?

WTF Wednesday

Two Banana Waffles with Maple Syrup for breakfast. Eating two Waffles makes meal time last almost a full minute.

Eggless Egg Salad for lunch.
Gardein Holiday Roast with Chard and Baked Sweet Potato for dinner. Just about one serving left of the Gardein and Chard. I will miss it. I think.
A half a Chocolate Cupcake from Natalia's Elegant Creations. There's still another whole Chocolate Cupcake left. Really fantastic. And, yes, part of this picture is in focus somewhere.
Coming up tomorrow: PB & Banana for breakfast, Mexican food for lunch.

WTF Tuesday

Banana Waffle with Maple Syrup for breakfast. Really went down fast. Literally in seconds.
Kung Pao 'Chicken' from Good Fortune for lunch.
Boca Burgers with Daiya Cheddar and Oven Fries for dinner.
The other half a piece of Pina Colada Cake for dessert.
How will my grub be different tomorrow?

Monday, November 26th

Raisin Walnut Toast with Tofutti Cream Cheese for breakfast. The office fire alarm went off just as I was about to chow down. I refused to go outside and leave my toast to get cold. It was a false alarm, so I was smart to stay put and eat.
The Mediterranean Mix $5.99 from Perfect Pita for lunch. It's a massive amount of food (a cube of feta cheese that comes with it was brought home for the pups). Stuffed as I was, I still followed up with lots of TJ's Chocolate Covered Raisins because they were in my desk drawer.
Mr. SV brought in Green Curry Tofu for me from Thai Deelish for dinner.
Coming up tomorrow: Looking forward to toasting the Waffles I made and enjoying with some Maple Syrup.

Sunday, November 25th

Breakfast was a cup of Vegan Chili at Black Bear Bistro. They sat us in the lower level next to the fireplace. Makes for a cozy romantic meal, but not for the best pics.
I had the Mushroom Creole Hoagie for lunch....
and a side of Fries.
After lunch I opened my new waffle maker and made a batch of Banana Waffles.  The waffle maker instructions said to throw away the first one, but we ate it anyway just out of curiosity. It was very good.
Gardein Holiday Roast with Chard for dinner. Again.
A half a Chocolate Cupcake from Natalia's Elegant Creations for dessert.
Twelve hours from now I'll supposedly be sitting in my cube. I'm not ready mentally or physically.

Saturday, November 24th

It's my vacation and I had to make delicious food happen. So I dragged Mr. SV to Clare and Don's Beach Shack where we shared some Fried Dill Pickle Chips...
and I had the Blackened Tofu Sandwich.
Gardein Holiday Roast with Chard for dinner. This Roast was great, but the Field Roast En Croute is still #1 in my book of vegan roasts.
A half a piece of Pina Colada Cake (oh yes) for dessert.
One day left to seek out and find delicious vegan grub...

Friday, November 23rd

Breakfast was Avocado Sushi $4.50 at Faang. (The Cucumber Sushi was Mr. SV's).
Lunch was Tofu and Cashews $11.
The Gardein Roast is currently defrosting in the fridge, so dinner was Boca Burgers with Daiya Cheddar Wedge and Oven Fries.
Dessert was more Fries. Today was the last nice day we're supposed to have for a long time, so the chickens were out enjoying the gorgeous weather and leftover cold Oatmeal.
They concurred that it was really good Oatmeal.
It was an eventful day. Buttercup slipped out of the barn and managed to elude capture for several hours. She was so pleased with herself, but also happy to get back inside on her own volition.
I hope I get to go out to lunch again tomorrow.

Thursday, November 22nd

Kashi Cinnamon Harvest Cereal and Almond Milk for breakfast.
Thanksgiving Supper was the AYCE Buffet $45/pp at Normandie Farm. I had a lot of Hummus and Bread...
as well as Hearts of Palm, Mushrooms a la Grecque and Artichokes. My mother was discussing with one of her friends the difficulty of my veganism combined with Thanksgiving. My mother's friend asked why I couldn't just stop being vegan for the day. Even my mother had to admit that sounded pretty stupid.
The last of the TJ's Turkey-less Stuffed Roast and a Baked Potato for dinner.
It was a good food day, but I am thankful Thanksgiving is over.

Wednesday, November 21st

Breakfast was some Apple Butter I'd bought at the Farmer's Market a month ago. I didn't have any English Muffins, so I had it on Oatmeal Bread. It was really delicious Apple Butter.
Lunch was at Viet Chopsticks where I enjoyed the #8 Lunch Special...Vegetarian Summer Roll...
with Tofu and Vegetables $10.95 including beverage.
Tostadas for dinner.
A super old and nasty Boom Choco Boom Bar for dessert. Practically broke my teeth on this thing. Foul aftertaste as well. Poo!
Since the Rambling Vegans decided to fold up shop, there's been a dearth of pup pics on the vegan blogs. Here is a pic of the love on my life pondering all his lentil-filled bowel movements since ingesting a bag of Bob's Red Mill Vegi Soup Mix a couple days ago.
Coming up tomorrow: My least favorite holiday.

Tuesday, November 20, 2012

WTF Tuesday

Kashi Cinnamon Harvest Cereal and Almond Milk for breakfast.
More Eggless Egg Salad for lunch, this time with some WF's Vegan Slaw...
The TJ's Turkey-less Stuffed Roast again for dinner. Gets more delicious every day.
Coconut Bliss Ginger Cookie Caramel. I must dispute the supposed four servings per container. Methinks there are really only two.
Coming up tomorrow: staycation grub.

WTF Monday

A bowl of Bobs Red Mill Quick Cooking Steel Cut Oats and Craisins for breakfast.
Eggless Egg Salad for lunch.
TJ's Turkey-less Stuffed Roast for dinner. I tightly wrapped the pieces in foil and didn't over cook it, so it was better this time. The TJ's Gravy does seem saltier to me than Imagine Mushroom Gravy.
The other half a piece of  Pumpkin Spice Cake for dessert.
More typical WFH grub tomorrow.
