Monday, December 31st

An Adult Banana and a Baby Banana for breakfast. The Baby Banana was better.
A cup of Adobo Black Bean Chili and...
Artichokes, Hearts of Palm, Broccoli and Beyond Meat Curried Chicken Salad for lunch
Mr. SV made pizza from scratch tonight with Daiya Cheddar. I've learned that a little dab of Daiya will do ya.
I just happened to buy Vegan Friendly Sparkling Wine this year (but have now learned that previous bottles enjoyed over the past years were not vegan friendly).
Best Wishes for the New Year!

Sunday, December 30th

Another late start to the eating day. This time at Faang. Mr. SV & I shared Vegetable Tempura $8. I think Tempura is vegan based on my research, but if any of my Asian readers can confirm, that would be appreciated. I didn't feel confident taxing the server with that question.
My Tofu and Cashews $11.
Mr. SV wanted me to show his Spicy Garden $11
I've got his 'Spicy Garden' right here! Ha! JK. Anyway, after that huge lunch, I am still too full for dinner and oftentimes I do eat just for da blog, but tonight I'm putting myself to bed without dinner or dessert.

Saturday, December 29th

We didn't get the snow they were predicting, but I still slept in really late. So around lunchtime, Mr. SV & I dropped in to Anthony's to see why their parking lot is always packed. We split an order of Bruschetta $6...
and I had the Mediterranean Veggie Wrap $7.50.
Finally made Oh She Glows Avocado Pasta for dinner tonight. It was as delicious as I'd expected it to be.
Too stuffed for dessert.

WTF Friday

I was able to sneak in a third WFH day this week, so more Nature's Path Corn Flakes with Almond Milk for breakfast. Highly recommend.
Mr. SV was in DC today and brought me back some Mushroom Loaf with Mac & Cheese (along with some other future meals) from Everlasting Life Cafe.
I thought I'd never eat again after that, but managed to still make room for a little Hummus on an Everything Bagel before bed.
Two to four inches of snow is forecast for tomorrow, a blizzard for the DC area, so more stay-at-home grub is in the offing.

WTF Thursday

Nature's Path Corn Flakes with Almond Milk for breakfast.
Mr. SV brought in lunch from Thai Deelish. I had the Green Coconut Curry Noodles.
Noodles for lunch and Pasta for dinner: Leftover Mr. SV's Spaghetti with TJ's Meatless Meatballs.
The other half of my Vegan and GF Cupcake from Natalia's Elegant Creations for dessert.
Mango says, "Mommy, clean up the bathroom, please!"
Tomorrow is a wildcard. Will I get myself into the office? I'm doubtful.

WTF Wednesday

Since I busted my *ss putting together yesterdays Christmas extravaganza post, today is a lazy *ss 'wordless Wednesday' post.

Tuesday, December 25th

The last of my Pumpkin Waffles for breakfast.
Lunch was the 'Vegetarian Box' $19.95 at Legal Seafoods. Stir-Fried Vegetables, Coconut Curry Sauce, Cashews, Tofu and Brown Rice.
Dinner was the $14.95 Christmas Menu that I carried out from Loving Hut.
Formulated by local vegan Cooking Instructor, Mimi Clark. I liked the Scalloped Potatoes the best. We saved the Corn Chowder for another night.
While we had a White Christmas, it was too foggy to get great pics.
Lots to investigate.
Teddy isn't to be trusted outside without a leash. She will immediately tear down the driveway and up the street.
Molly loved it so much.
Too stuffed for dessert. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Monday, December 24th

Tofu Scramble $10 at Busboys and Poets for breakfast. Yep, I was off work today.
Roasted Red Pepper Hummus and Triscuits for lunch.
Hazelnut Cranberry Roast En Croute with Imagine Mushroom Gravy and Brussels Sprouts for dinner.
An Eli's Treasure Bar for dessert.
Look at me, blogging on Christmas Eve. I'm way too into it.

Sunday, December 23rd

Up and out early this morning to hit the malls and stopping at WF's for breakfast. At $8.49/pound, this was a rather expensive bowl of Oatmeal, but it was good.
Lunch was at Clare And Don's Beach Shack, where Mr. SV & I shared the Fried Dill Pickle Chips $4
...and I enjoyed the Blackened Tofu Sandwich $8.50.
TJ's Chickenless Chickn with Imagine Mushroom Gravy and Pepperidge Farm Stuffing for dinner.
Half of this Vegan and GF Cupcake from Natalia's Elegant Creations for dessert. I can't wait to see what's inside the present on top. No peeking till Christmas morning.
One more shopping day till you know.

Saturday, December 22nd

Breakfast was a cup of the Vegan Chili at Black Bear Bistro.
Lunch was the Blackened Tofu with Pumpkin & Walnut Salsa $7.95. This was the first disappointing item I've ever had at BBB. Clare & Don's has apparently cornered the market on Blackened Tofu.
Boca Burgers and TJ's Tots for dinner. I couldn't think of anything else to have.
A Nana's Lemon Cookie for dessert.
For those who prefer fur over food, I spent some time in the barn this afternoon. Here is what Buttercup always does to distract me while I'm doing the chores.
Mystique just observes. She doesn't have to resort to any schtick to get attention.
Donovan is still my ultimate favorite.
...but Jasper is a close second. He has grown from a tiny timid kitten into a giant goofball.
More favorite foods tomorrow.

Friday, December 21st

Just a plain old Grapefruit for breakfast....
Lunch was a Roasted Vegetable Panini $10 at Mia's Pizza. As delicious as it was beautiful. Which means 'very'.
Hazelnut Cranberry Roast En Croute with Imagine Mushroom Gravy and Brussels Sprouts for dinner.
Months old Cleo Cups that got melted to each other and the wrapper for dessert. Still tasted fresh.
A great food day. Who knew it would turn out so well?
