Tuesday, April 21st

Yes, this was breakfast again and it was fantastic...
LPQ Gazpacho for lunch. I wisely let it get to room temperature before consuming. The container was 100% compostable, so that was a relief...
Loving Hut 'Jalapeno Tofu' for dinner....
a Carrot Muffin from LPQ for dessert...
100% great food day. Bye for now.

Sunday, April 19th

When I picked up my bread-free Gazpacho yesterday, the manager at LPQ (major go-getter, this guy) said that my beloved 'Tofu Scramble' could be resurrected (sans cheese). He approached me (this time), I didn't bug him (like I usually do).  Cautious optimism would be how Mr. SVegetarian and I reacted to this announcement, but said we would return in the morning to partake. The manager of LPQ is a man of his word.
side of Avocado. Our favorite server, Daniella from Moldavia, kept the Iced Teas topped off. Like old times. Now we are really in a conundrum....Do we go to TFK or LPQ next Saturday?
WF's haul after breakfast....
Found a two pound box of Baby Artichokes for $3.99 at Wegmans yesterday...Hey! Bebe!
I dont think I prepared them correctly because they were very disappointing. Totally blah. I need Unknown to 'please advise'....
More Randy Radish Brownie for dessert....
Might take an Artichoke break tomorrow. Bye for now.

Sunday, February 22nd

As great as the 'Tofu Scramble Wrap' was this morning at True Food Kitchen, it was even better to get the little bowl of Beans that came with it...
No Banana in this mid-afternoon repast...
Picked up a 'Lentil Avocado Salad' from Le Pain Quotidien for dinner. The manager again reassured me that the Tofu Scramble would return. He's very sweet...
defrosted an LPQ Blueberry Muffin for dessert...
I am well-stocked for the week, so lots of same olds coming up over the next five days. Bye for now.

Saturday, January 10th

Mr. SVegetarian was otherwise engaged this morning and I dont yet feel comfortable dining at True Food Kitchen alone, so LPQ it was for the Avocado Toast. Pretty enjoyable and the environs were very peaceful...
Sorry, Unknown, Banana was the second ingredient in this one...
Gardein Meatloaf with Baked Potatoes and Sour Supreme for dinner...
My last Theo Cups for dessert...
Definitely True Food Kitchen tomorrow. Bye for now.

Saturday, October 25th

Breakfast was the 'Tofu Scramble Wrap' at True Food Kitchen, this time with a tiny ramekin of Tomatillo/Jalapeno mixture...Way too much food, but I ate it all anyway...
A 'Lentil Avocado Salad' from LPQ for dinner...
Jasper checking out the birds from inside the barn...
A very pensive Mystique...wondering when Mommy will stop taking pics...
Something different tomorrow? Doubtful. Bye for now.

Saturday, September 13th

No Tofu at all in da LPQ house this morning, so it was back to the Six Vegetable Tart...
and a side of Raisin Bread to make sure I was appropriately stuffed...
which I was, plus there were leftovers for an afternoon snack with TJ's Cream Cheese...
MaPo Tofu carried out from PF Changs for dinner. Below was the first half of dinner...
the second half looked the same. No dessert. A fantastic food day. Bye for now.

Saturday, September 6th

I went in to LPQ this morning fully intending to get the Six-Vegetable Tart, but still got up the nerve to ask the server if there was any possibiilty of getting the Tofu Scramble. She said, yes(!) but there would be no Mushrooms. I figured it was a mistake and she would come back soon to tell me 'No'. She did come back, but only to say there was no Soy Cheese either. I was fine with that as well...
and when my Side of Avocado didn't show up, I requested it. What a successful breakfast!  An LPQ miracle!
Decided to keep the LPQ love going all day with the Lentil and Avocado Salad for dinner. Probably looked better before it rode around in a hot car for three hours...
the 'new' Blueberry Canelle for dessert...Not the best...
What could possibly happen tomorrow to top todays grub. Tune in to find out. Bye for now.

Sunday, August 31st

Okay, so, I admit it: I have no place else to go. Moving on. LPQ was out of my first choice of Steel Cut Oatmeal this morning (they are really trying to shake me), so I opted for the 'Organic Banana Crunola' Raw Granola, Coconut Cashew Butter with Seasonal Compote. Quite pleasing and remarkably satisfying despite its diminutive size......
Lunch was a bowl of 'Spicy Bok Choy and Tofu Soup' that I had picked up at Common Market yesterday...
the Soup was exceptionally great. Common Market has redeemed themselves for the lousy Sandwich and Fries they made yesterday...
A Randy Radish Eggless Egg Salad Sandwich with Common Market Cole Slaw for dinner....
About a quarter of a Zucchini Brownie for dessert...
As moist and chocolatey as one could hope for....
Food is my friend, again!!!!! Hoooray!!!! Bye for now.

Saturday, August 16th

Well, it finally happened...no more Tofu Scramble at LPQ. I handled it better than I thought I would. Opted for the Avocado Toast, which was very tasty, but no Scramble by a long shot. Extensive explanations and apologies were made by several of the staff, to the point where I thought, "I must seem pretty pathetic." A few allusions were made towards a possble return of the Scramble in a month or so, but they may have just been saying that to make me feel better...
I resolved to not let this day be a total food washout and made tracks to catch up with The Randy Radish. A Tofu Reuben enjoyed for dinner. My own Oven Fries accompanied...
No dessert again tonight. At least i know where I wont be going tomorrow. Bye for now.

Sunday, July 27th

I returned to LPQ to see if they would remember the Avocado, and if not, to remind them when I'm actually served. Turned out, there was no Tofu in the kitchen to make the Sramble anyway. I opted for the Six Vegetable Tart $12.75, which is beautiful and delicious, but overpriced IMO for the portion. The Roasted Artichoke on top was particularly enjoyable, perhaps that is why the dish is so expensive...
Sloppy Joes on Rudi's WW Buns with Corn on the Cob for dinner...
I decided to see if anything was doing with my wild Squash Vine this afternoon. Sho nuff, there is a Squash of some sort developing. I didn't touch it, lest I disconnect it from the vine, but I know it doesn't bode well to leave it on the ground....

A Strawberry Cupcake from Out Of The Bubble Bakery for dessert...
Back to WFH grub tomorrow. Bye for now.

Saturday, July 26th

Yes, they forgot the side of Avocado, but at least they didn't charge me for it today....
A Gazpacho disaster in the WF's parking lot. The bottom of the bag broke. It looked so refreshing on the pavement. Rather heartbreaking....
At least the beautiful bread wasn't wasted....

The Chickens loved it. No dummies, they..
A Silver Spotted Skipper guzzling the Phlox....
Thankfully, my Avocado Lentil Salad survived. The question is: why are there two dressings? I chose the yelllow one...

Another half a Randy Radish Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie for dessert. Gotta stock up on more of these, they're fantastic....

Bye for now.

Sunday, July 20th

A tasty but tough morning at LPQ. The staff was completely overwhelmed. I remembered to ask for Avocado, and they remembered to charge me for it, but they couldn't remember to serve it to me. Not able to flag anyone down initially, I just made do. The Avocado Toast is $9.95, and I just didn't feel like spending $10 at that moment. Afterwards, I bailed on getting carryout due to the line there....
Whole Food was mobbed as well. No worthwhile sales on produce that I saw....
The PB is for the Pups. They each get a spoonful morning and night when Poley takes his thyroid meds....
A Randy Radish (Field Roast) Corn Dog with WF's Fireworks Slaw. The Corn Dog reheated perfectly in the oven...
The Slaw was a nice change of pace...
A big piece of a Randy Radish Oatmeal Chocolate Cookie for desserrt....
Cube food tomorrow. Bye for now.
