Sunday, December 9th

Breakfast was a hot and creamy Piece Vegan Quiche W/Broccoli, Spinach and Mushrooms...
...that I picked up yesterday at Roots Market. A lot of ingredients went into making this Quiche so tasty.
A half a pound of Quiche keeps one filled for a long time, nonetheless, lunch was at Cantina D'Italia, where a small House Salad comes with the meal.
How did I consume all this Pasta Primavera $9.50 with lots of Italian Bread dipped in Olive Oil? Shame on me!
The gluttony continued through dinner with Field Roast Frankfurters and Potato Salad from Dawson's Market.
(Homestyle Dilled Potato Salad: Red Potatoes, Red Onions, Celery, Green Onions, Parsley, Fresh Dill, Veganaise, Stoneground Mustard, Apple Cider Vinegar, Salt & Pepper.)
Half a Maple Cupcake $3.50 from Great Sage for dessert. 50:50 icing to cake ratio.
I can't believe I ate it all.

I'm so proud of you for eating it all! That potato salad looks really good. And that maple cupcake, mm-mmm! What a way to end the weekend!

What a delicious looking day!

I've only had vegan quiche once and really liked it. The potato salad looks pretty awesome, as well.

I believe I'm most envious of your lunch. Salad, pasta, and bread dipped in olive oil is the Italian trifecta of happiness.

Dawson's Markets seems so know what to put in their potato salad - sounds great.

How was the cupcake?

A maple cupcake sounds heavenly! Was it as good as it looked?

The quiche sounds really delicious too! I've found it hard to make a nice vegan quiche but that looks really great! Great looking lunch too! I'm a sucker for good bread dipped in olive oil :)

Now thats an awesome day of eats!
Good bread with olive oil is not to be underestimated- i had pan con tomate (toasted bread smeared with tomato guts, garlic, olive oil and sea salt) at least twice a day when i visited spain a year ago. Its addictive
Thats an impressive looking cupcake- im pro icing

I love, love vegan quiche and that looks fantastic. I ought to do savory breakfast more often.

I love a savory breakfast so the Piece Vegan Quiche (what the hell kinda name is that?) looks especially good to me.

Hey Now!!!!

Blessed Mama, wish I felt proud of myself for eating all that. At least there were no leftovers to be wrapped up.

Molly, Vegan Quiche isn't as delicious as real Quiche..yet...

Ingrid, the Bread & Olive OIl were extremely outstanding, as was the Cupper.

GFHTummy, there was a lot of flour and sugar ingested. You would not have felt too well after a day like I had yesterday.

VaVa, I'm happy to report that the Maple Cupcake lived up to expectations.

Unknown, Tomato Guts are the best. The best part of the Tomato, IMO.

FF, remember when I made your Swiss Chard Quiche recipe oh so many years ago? It was good.

Miss Rachel, they didn't want any customers to think they were buying the Whole Vegan Quiche.
