Grapefruit is on sale for $1/each now, so it must be winter. Luckily, I still had some Energy Bites from last year to make a complete breakfast.
WF's had nothing interesting on the Hot Bar today, so lunch was the usual Salad...
and Adobo Black Bean Chili. Today's Chili was really excellent, which made me realize I haven't ever appreciated WF's for always having this great vegan Chili available.
Gardein Stuffed Turk'y for dinner.
I had some TJ's CC Raisins after lunch, so no dessert tonight.

Oh man I can't believe I mixed them up!! I blame it on the 10+ hour work day I had just finished!
Anyway, great looking food! I was just thinking today that I need to get some oranges. Are those bites seriously from last year or were you just conjuring up last years breakfast?
Great looking salad and I should really try that chili. It always sounds delicious. I guess I should check to see if my WFs even offers it first. That stuffed turkey gardein dinner was my favorite gardein product! Looks great!
I've been seeing something called "Sam's Vegan Chili" on our hot bar. I haven't tried it. I tend to be a chili snob. I can't do many things well, but I do make a good chili. Once it's cold enough, I'll make a crock pot full of it.
Regardless of my snobbery, the Adobo Black Bean Chili sounds good.
I'm happy to see the return on grapefruit / energy bite. Welcome back!
Oh, grapefruit! I must get some. Such a perfect breakfast. I love the looks of that salad, too.
An energy bite from last YEAR?? I'm luckyy if those things last a week.Great looking soup. Our WFs is not into impressing vegans.
I'm most impressed with the photography in this post! The use of utensils, the lifting of food, the various angles. Breathtaking. That's all I've got to say.
Grapefruit for a dollar...I wish they were that cheap around here. And, that looks like an epic pile of salad!
Hey Now!!!!
VaVa, you always do an outstanding job of commenting on every post (OCD perhaps?). So you are forgiven this one transgression. Yes, the Energy Bites are from last year. Still tasted fresh, thankfully.
Ingrid, Sam must be a WF's employee. Sometimes they give employees creative license. Many years ago, one employee was making Seitan Subs that I was crazy for. Then I guess they quit. Hope you post your Chili recipe.
Molly, it was an unusually healthy day. I still plan to make your Milwaukee Chili as well.
FF, the Energy Bite probably didn't have any energy left after a year. Like a battery or something. Still tasted good.
Blessed Mama, yes, the use of utensils and lifting of food is my 'signature'. In case anyone tries to steal one of my photos, it'll be obvious to everyone it was mine.
Rose, Grapefruits are 10/$10 during the winter here. Perhaps because we're closer to Florida?
