WTF Monday

A bowl of Bobs Red Mill Quick Cooking Steel Cut Oats and Craisins for breakfast.
Eggless Egg Salad for lunch.
TJ's Turkey-less Stuffed Roast for dinner. I tightly wrapped the pieces in foil and didn't over cook it, so it was better this time. The TJ's Gravy does seem saltier to me than Imagine Mushroom Gravy.
The other half a piece of  Pumpkin Spice Cake for dessert.
More typical WFH grub tomorrow.

Another great food day! I am going to start getting some oats in for breakfast. I like the cranberries in there, it looks very festive for the holiday season :) Glad your roast worked out better today. I know what you mean about some of them being salty, I found the tofurkey roast to be incredibly salty... inedibly salty. The individual stuffed garden turk'y roasts are by far the yummiest in my opinion. Also obscenely expensive, ha!

And from yesterday, I know what you mean about the coffee withdrawals! I will NEVER go through that again either! Decaf soy lattes as a treat, otherwise it's herbal tea or once in a while a green or black tea :)

I'm really hoping you get to work the entire week (minus Thursday, of course - no working then!) from work.

Gravies certainly can be tricky. I'll have to try the Imagine brand sometime.

What is that white patterned thing in the background of your lunch and dinner photos? A fancy napkin or a paper towel?

Hey Now!!!

VaVa, it's been a number of years since I had Tofurky Roast but I didn't notice the saltiness, just the terrible taste and texture. I am beginning to wonder if it has improved in recent years. Decaffe Soy Lattes aren't too big a hardship;-)

Ingrid, thanks! I'm off work tomorrow till next Monday. You know how that is.

Miss Rachel, that would be a Bounty paper towel adding reflection and texture to my photos. It's a very professional operation I run here.

Rose, 47I am glad you like the Craisins. They really do work well with Oatmeal. Highly recommend.

Some people think that in order to be successful at gambling, you need to be good at math, but it's not really true. It's a good skill to have, but mostly, you need to know some tricks and tips. I usually play olg slots but not to make money, mostly to have fun. And it helps me avoid gambling addiction.
