Wednesday, January 1st

Busboys and Poets was packed to rafters with New Years Day Brunchers today, but it was well worth the wait time. My 'Vegan Egg Wrap' $10. Tortilla Wrapped Tofu Scramble with Mixed Veggies, Vegan Bacon and Vegan Cheese, Served with Home Fries....
The 'Vegan Tuna Salad Sandwich' $9.50 carried out for dinner. Chickpeas with Relish, Nori, Carrot, Celery, Red Onion and Vegan Mayo served on Toasted French Bread with Lettuce and Tomato. Wasn't as good as I remember it being. Now I can move on to trying something else on the menu...
I was pretty stuffed from all of the above, but still found room for some Cocomels for dessert...
Back to the same old tomorrow...

Yay happy new year! Definitely a great way to start 2014, that brunch looks delicious! Definitely a great looking breakfast wrap and you definitely can't go wrong with a pile of potatoes on the side. Too bad the sandwich wasn't as great as you remember but I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing what else you try on the menu. Those cocomels look so good. Maybe I'll take a look at the ingredients and see if I can make it cleanse appropriate ;)

Happy New Year Shen! If yr resolution was to keep eating enviable foods, you have succeeded so far. Have you gotten that wrap at B & P before? I don't remember it, but I feel like I would because it sounds awesome.
I worked today but even if I hadn't, there would be NO WAY in hell I'd go out for lunch. Glad you made it out okay.
I didn't get to comment yesterday but both the Painkillers and the black champagne sound totally metal.

Great wrap! And those potatoes look really good, totally wait worthy. Too bad the sandwich was less thrilling..... Its great their menu has so many vegan choices for an omni place! The cocomels are in my amazon cart right now.

This is the lambrusco i buy at trader joe's- although here it's now a whopping $5.99. :)) this site has a great description of it too:

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, guess you're on Day 2 of your cleanse? I think I may want to do a Cleanse, although I obviously don't have your willpower. Hope you don't get too pounded by the storm.

FF, I have gotten the B&P Wrap before and it is most excellent. So the book store was open on New Year's Day? People making a resolution to read more? Why was there NO WAY in hell you would go out for lunch yesterday? The snow didn't start till today.

Unknown, you'll like the Cocomels. The Chocolate Covered, look really good (although very expensive). I could buy three bottles of that TJ's wine for the cost of one Shingleback. It's bad for Mason's paws to walk on salted sidewalks. I hope he's protected.

Abby, that's right, you got the VT's Cookie Assortment. I do not want to forget to order that in 11 months.

Hannah, do they make Peanut Butter Caramels? That does sound really delicious. You may want to patent that idea.

I really need to start my own peanut butter candy company.
