WTF Tuesday

Breakfast was Tahini & Apricot Jam -- an oddly bitter match made in Ridgewood...
'Mixed Vegetables and Tofu' (#22) $8.95 from Loving Hut for lunch...
Soon followed by a sizable amount of Lemon Capellini that I'd gotten off the WF's Salad Bar this past weekend...
More of Mr. SVegetarian's Vegetable Soup for dinner. For some reason, I'm eating his Soup and he's not eating any...
A Vegan Treats Jelly Donut for dessert (yes, that was the best angle I could get of it, the other Donut pics looked eerily like a vajayjay. So you're welcome for my not posting one of those)...
I will make it my mission to not repeat any of the above meals tomorrow.

Haha, maybe I would have liked to have seen a different angle on the donut!
I'm sorry you didn't like the tahini and jam! I think the tahini I use is very mellow.
At least the soup was still good. maybe mr. SV poisoned it and is letting you have it in small doses so he can eat the rest of the donuts.

Do you think it was the bread or the toppings that didn't work. It looks like it would taste good.

The rest of the day certainly made up for it - savory and sweet! I trust your photo judgement. ;)

Tahini can be hit or miss....do you keep it in the fridge? It can go bad at room temp so bitter may =rancid.
That pasta looks like crazy hair or something! And i would be thrilled to have that soup all to myself..... Don't ask too many questions.
Ha!! Have you been looking at too many georgia o'keefe paintings?! Who sees that in a doughnut!!?

No black dresses at brunch, more of a $300 jeans with designer handbags crowd...
My parents sent me pics from a dog show they went to over the weekend- now i want a newphie!! Hope your pups are keeping cuddly in the cold

Haaaaahahaha you always make me laugh! I seriously laughed out loud about your donut pics.

Ooooh you tried the apricot jam and tahini combo! I agree with the above comments... maybe the bread contributed to bitterness? Or maybe rancid tahini? I still really want to try it, yum. Gotta love the Loving Hut meal, I'm always jealous of this one.

Hmmmm... interesting that Mr. SV isn't eating that soup ;) It looks awesome, maybe he's afraid he'll lose a finger if he tries to take some? And donuts are always great, no matter what angle ;)

Hey Now!!!!

FF, you would have had a field day with a different angle on that donut. And, believe me, I'm wondering why he's not eating his own Soup.

Ingrid, PB & Jelly tastes good. Tahini and Apricot Jam tastes bitter. I eat it so you don't have to.

Unknown, this Tahini has been in the fridge a while. Maybe I should open a new jar and try again? I'm tellin' ya, the Donut looked like a Vaj! Last time I was in NYC, I saw many girls looking so chic in simple LBDs and Pumps. Fortunately, I'm not an appreciator of the handbag craze. Aren't those Newphies big dogs?

Sarah, I will open a fresh jar of Tahini and try again, just so people don't think I'm not objective.

Hannah, I've yet to see 'The Vagina Monologues'. Never owned a copy of 'Our Bodies, Ourselves'. I'm uptight, okay????
