WTF Monday

Here we go again....
The last of the 'Peruvian Purple Potato Soup' for lunch. Adios sopa!

Balsamic Roasted Tofu from WF's with Roasted Carrots for dinner. Roasted food is good...
My last Roots Market Pecan Sandie for dessert...
Sarah said she'd use her baking expertise to help me find a way recreate them at home so I don't have to drive 70 miles each way to get more...
All different grub tomorrow.

You should start saying you roast cookies, not bake cookies, then.

Now that is a schmear!! That bagel looks great, nice job ;) That was a big ol batch of soup! Are you glad it is finished or do you wish there was more? I agree that roasted food is indeed delicious. This is why raw cleanses don't work well for me ;) Thanks for the ingredient list! I'll try to recreate them after my cleanse!

Haha roasted cookies...
I wonder if I would buy pumpernickel TJ bagels...good thing they don't exist.
I sure hope those Sandies get made for ya.

I've eaten all of those Sandie's cookies with my eyes. I will miss them. I hope you can replicate the recipe!

Don't tempt with beautiful food from Whole Foods! I've been so good not eating out, but that roasted tofu sounds fantastic.

Nice bagel schmear there! That was one impressive batch of soup, though i'm sure you're ready for a break from it. And whatever whole foods does their roasted fu is really good! Can't figure out what the deal is that mine isn't quite as yummy.
Those cookies sound really simple, kinda like a shortbread.

More biking today for me :) i even had an iced coffee! (Which was too optimistic and then made me very cold...)

Is it just me, or does your cream cheese look like it was piped on like icing?

I adore pecan sandies. Hopefully you can get your hands on a decent recipe for them.

You started the work week off well. :)

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, when I get that Pecan Sandie recipe from Sarah, they shall be Roasted not Baked.

Sarah, the schmear was about a half a tub of Tofutti. I could have used a little less, but ate it all. I'm sorry the soup is gone, but it makes the blog less boring to move on. I'm looking forward to those new Sandies! Clean yourself!

FF, still can't believe you bought TJ's Sesame Bagels. At least if you bought a unique flavor like Pumpkin I could understand. What got into you there?

Ingrid, I hear ya on not eating out, but I think WF's Salad Bar stuff is probably better for me than anything I would make for myself.

Unknown, WFs definitely knows how to bring out the flavor in simple things. Do you rent one of those city bikes or do you have your own bike? I think your biking days are over for a while whichever it is.

Abby, I am schmear-impaired. You have no idea how stressful it is for me when I try to administer the schmear to the bagel.

RVs, Pecan Sandies are your type of cookie that's for sure.
