Saturday, January 11th

Hooray! Breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien. 'Tofu Scrambler' $9.95 with a 'half' a side of Avocado $1.95. Great food and service as usual...
Mr. SVegetarian's Oatmeal was so pretty, I thought I'd post a pic of that too...
Not as pretty but still tasty: Okara Burgers with Oven Fries for dinner...
Too many Fries. No room for dessert.

LPQ returns! So glad you were able to go and enjoy that delicious looking plate. Oatmeal and fresh berries is always photogenic!

Sometimes the potato I select for oven fries yields a lot - it's a savory dessert attached to dinner! ;)

mr. SV don't lie. Beautiful oatmeal. Is that what he usually orders?

Glad you made it to LPQ! The fu scramble looks extra veggie-ful today. And Mr's oatmeal is gorgeous- hope he didn't eat the mint leaf with the oatmeal tho.....
Your dinner fries are better looking than most restaurants!

My mom is a big fan of cheesecake too! Haha. I would say if your mom is more into the chocolate than the cheesecake then yes, junior's- they have some crazy concoctions. But, if she just wants a chocolate (non crazy) cheesecake then go with S and S- my ex pastry bf loved S and S, and i've sent their traditional to many people. Oh! But you have to call and listen to the bronx accent for full effect :)

Yay! Mr. SVeg kept his word (I had no doubt!!). Both of your breakfasts look AMAZING. Your scramble always looks delicious so I'm not surprised but that oatmeal looks spectacular! The berries look really fresh which is surprising this time of the year. The oven fries look perfect, I'm definitely jealous of those.

Hope today brings more yummy meals!

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, I can't believe how many Fries I got last night. I ate them all though.

FF, I often put things on the blog to kinda 'make them happen'. Mr. SV explores the LPQ menu. He's done the Yogurt Parfait, Eggs, Breads. Lucky fella.

Unknown, Mr. SV did take off the mint leaf (I'm pretty sure). And, yes, I have been making exceptionally good Fries lately for some reason. S&S will be where I order the Cheesecake. Carnegie Deli and Eileen's were also contenders, but other internet commenters confirm your S&S recommendation as best.

Sarah, time for an update on your cleanse. How are you feeling? What other fresh produce did you stock up on?

S'okay, I'll dedicate my regular fourth dessert of the night to you.
