Friday, January 24th

When it was time to eat breakfast this morning, I suddenly got busy and totally missed out on my first meal. Made up for it when finally sitting down to lunch at Amalfi's by eating a ton of Italian Bread with lots of Olive Oil...
My 'House Salad' $5.50 was not exactly winter food, but it was good...
The side of Pasta that came with my mother's Eggplant Parmagiana was consumed by me as well...
Even though I was still full, dinner was Field Roast Frankfurters with Oven Fries...
I found this article very uplifting. Wish I had a Pig.

OMG the piggie!! What a sweet story and article! Did you watch the video. So freaking cute, thanks for sharing that!

No breakfast is sad but making up for it with lots of yummy Italian bread is good in my book. The salad looks good but you are right, it's too cold for salad! Oven fries are definitely much better winter food :)

Happy weekend!

Whoa, they just plop the olive oil bottle on the table for you? Damn. No skimpy little saucersful there.
The sauce on the pasta looks really good too.

That bread looks like it was nice and fresh! Sometimes the more simple meals like bread and salad can be the most satisfying....

I looooovveee that article!! And now i want a pig too! I totally just emailed it to a bunch of people (none of whom are vegan)......think about it people!

No biking here lately- between the ice and the potential for freezing to death it doesn't really sound like fun. That's too funny that the cheesecakes came in hardcore packaging! I hope she managed without stabbing herself with scissors......

How adorable is that pig?! The canines probably also think he's one of them. Ha! Millions of people own pets, how they not see the correlation?!?!

At least there was delicious bread and warm pasta to go with your cold salad. ;)

Esther!!!! So beautiful. I watched that whole darn video and didn't mind that it was peeping in on a piggie getting her bath.

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, yes, that guy did a great job bathing Esther.
Hope you stay warm this weekend. Still cleansing?

FF, oh yeah, I hate when you only get the little saucer of Olive Oil and you have to keep begging for more.

Unknown, it was majorly insane packaging. Big thick heavy cardboard boxes completely sealed shut. No 'Pull Here' tab. The Cheesecakes inside, each one stabilized with styrofoam, seemed so tiny. She was all upset that she broke three nails before I got there so the Cakes are in the freezer for now. I'll let you know when she eventually tries them.

Ingrid, are you re-thinking using a groomer for Remy? He's just a tiny dog. You could probably bathe him in the kitchen sink.

Blessed Mama, Esther was so well-behaved in her bath. A very sweet girl.
