Sunday, January 20th

Breakfast and lunch were at Clare and Don's Beach Shack where Mr. SV & I shared some Fried Dill Pickle Chips  $4 with a sampler of their vegan sauces (Tartar, Mustard/Mayo and Remoulade).
and I had the Blacked Tofu Sandwich $8.50.
Hazelnut Cranberry Field Roast En Croute and Roasted Broccoli for dinner.
Finally, Mango allowed a face shot....I need to stock up on these baskets.
Back to work tomorrow.

I seriously want to try some fried dill pickles. Yours look especially delicious, as does your blackened tofu sandwich. Glad you went back to your fav choice! The icing on that cake looks so perfect. LOVE LOVE LOVE Mango! The name and the sweet face :)

Yum! Fried pickles and a Blackened Tofu Sandwich sound like a great way to start the day - and crinkle cut fries. Now when I see fries on your page, I immediately imagine you sharing some with the fowl in your backyard. :)

Yes, the baskets appear to be a hit. Do they leave them where you set them, or drag them to a place of their choice?

I had "frickles" at some silly trendy restaurant here in nyc, they tasted awesome but i dont think we got sauces too....
Did you really have an entire day without a tempeh ruben?? ;)
Also, you should really get in touch with field roast to see if they want to sponsor your blog! You must be one of their most loyal customers.
That looks like one happy kitty there- who knew baskets were cat magnets?

I just tried fried pickles for the first time...now I want to buy a deep fryer so I can make them whenever I get a craving. So good! The dipping sauces sound great, too.

Nothing like a basket to draw a kitty in! Mango is such a cutie with an adorable name to match.

That blackened tofu sandwich definitely lives up to it's name!

I am very interested in that ruffly piece of garnish served with the pickle chips.
Also the name mango for a cat.

Hey Now!!!!!

VaVa, I need your professional photography skills down here to really capture my 'crew'.

Ingrid, most Fries go to Fowl, unless they're unusually salty. The indoor felines are so well-behaved, the basket is staying put.

Unknown, my blog sponsored by Field Roast? Not knowing baskets were cat magnets? Are you being sarcastic? It's hard to tell with one as mysterious as yourself.

Sara, after you make the Frickles in your new fryer (and post about it), make some Tempura (and post about it).

Molly, what I lack in warm crackling fireplaces, I make up for in baskets.

FF, I was thrilled to see that garnish on my plate. Knew it would totally pop on da blog. Mango > Haxan.

Haha, maybe my dry sense of humor doesnt translate over the interwebs...... Just thinkin' the field roast people should reciprocate for all the good press you give them! Our kitties always looked for unmade beds to sleep on or a warm car hood, never would have thought to get a basket for them-
