Friday, January 25th

Even though I enjoyed this healthy breakfast...
I couldn't keep away from the vending machine.
Was hungry again by the time I sat down for lunch at La Sandia. Excellent Salsa...
Fresh Guac made table-side $9.95 by Miguel...
Sangria from which I did not catch a buzz $8...
Consumed this entire platter of Vegetable Fajitas $13.95 as well.
Boca Burgers and TJ's Tots for dinner.
Skipping dessert. Lunch plans already in place for tomorrow.

I have no words that can accurately describe to you how jealous I am of your lunch. I never really enjoyed Mexican food until like 5 years ago and now I LOOOOOOVE IT!! your meal looks absolutely perfect and satisfying. I could totally go for some Sangria, yours looks great!

Ugh! Vending machines! The bane of my existence! my friend recently told me Lorna Doone cookies were vegan so I just HAD to get some out of the machine at work and I ate them all, despising myself and the crumbly chemicals called "cookie."
But enough about me. Nice fajitas. And look at you, living on the edge and boozing on lunch hour!

As the Queen of Mexico, I must say that's one muy delicioso looking meal! The fajitas have all kinds of goodies- what are they all? Am a weird for never having a Sangria? Although, I rarely drink....

I liked how you described the energy bites for me - as fresh fudge. I will never look at this breakfast the same way.

Veggie fajitas, sangria, guacamole, chips and salsa. Yes.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, nothing better than good Mexican food. Especially with freshly made Guac.

FF, did you verify that the LDs were vegan before you ate them? I just did a search on the ingredients and came up with eggs & whey :http://www.foodfacts.com/NutritionFacts/Butter-Cookies/Lorna-Doone-Shortbread-Cookies-10-oz/4058#

Molly. you are weird for never having been to Starbucks. Not so much for never having Sangria. Although, a tea-totaller would probably really enjoy Sangria cuz it's just wine with some fruit juice & ice.

Ingrid, as I'm sure you're aware, there is a dearth of good Mexican food in the DC area. La Sandia is pretty decent if you ever decide to hit it up with Grandma.
