Sunday, January 13th

Breakfast was at The Common Market. My Tofurky Reuben $4.99 was mind-blowingly delicious. A million times better than yesterday's meal that cost five times as much.
Alongside my Sandwich, I enjoyed two Tempeh Sausages off the Hot Bar.
I wonder if I can ever get enough Tempeh?
Plus a new (to me) kind of Kombucha to wash it all down. Refreshing!
Tempeh Scramble...
and a  Potato Latke...
for dinner. Again, great. I photograph the ingredients in case anyone thinks they can recreate these items.
An Eli's Celebrate Bar for dessert.
Jerry enjoyed the spring weather today. Here he is taking bites out of some leftover Pita Bread.
Probably WFs again tomorrow.

Didja ask what kind of sauerkraut they used??
The Kombucha flavor sounds really tasty! I haven't seen that brand either.
Thanks for posting the ingredient list...those tempeh sausages actually do sound really good.
Watch out Jerry pecking those fingers.

This is a seriously great looking food day. Breakfast sounds delicious, how was the sausage? Sounds like something I'd love to try. The dinner looks great too and thanks for the ingredients :) I'll definitely have to try to recreate them. That bar looks great too and I think I'm going to give kombucha another try. Especially if it means I can get a buzz at work ;)

Love the pic of Jerry!

This post is full of food I should try: reuben, tempeh sausage, scramble. . .Actually, I should try your dessert too. Potato Latkes are always a good choice.

You and Jerry are quite lucky. This morning when I awoke, it was -2. I think we topped out around 16 degrees. Then again, if we are this cold now - we're probably sending it to you soon.

Will you be watching Downton tonight? Or should I start watching The Bachelor tomorrow, so we can compare notes?

So many of my favorites here: tempeh, reuben, kombucha, a hot bar full of food. Those Eli's bars are so good. Now I'm wishing I had some dessert around here.

Jerry is such a cutie!

I just love Jerry. What a handsome fella. <3

I'm glad the reuben was good- it certainly made my stomach growl a bit. I've really got to get on it and make one (or go out for one).

You had a delicious looking day and now I want to try tempeh scramble.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, way to spoil my big reveal on the Sauerkraut. Yes, if you must know, I did ask. However, it was not in stock and I would up buying a jar of the Woodstock brand that you recommended.

VaVa, sad to say, I've never caught a buzz off a Kombucha. WIsh I had.

Ingrid, I recorded Downton last night and am recording The Bachelor tonight. We can compare on The Bachelor, it looks like it will be a phenomenal season, but I have to wait till next week to catch up on Downton.

Nikki, yep, I really ate well yesterday. So happy with myself.

Molly, I can only imagine the incredible Reubens they're making up in your neck of the woods. Who knew the food was so good up there?
