Thursday, April 12th

PB & Banana for Breakfast. I took the 'bad' Banana that Mr. SV wasn't gonna eat.
WF's Mushroom Barley Soup (this was not good today. Actually wasted some of it!)...
and Salad Bar for lunch. Should've gone to Chipotle as I'd planned.
Field Roast Frankfurters and Tater Tots for dinner.
The last of the extremely hard and stale PB Bar from the Common Market for dessert.
Not the best food day. The Hot Dog and Tots were the pinnacle.

I have learned that impulse lunches rarely work out well. Obviously you were plotting yr dinner since then. Kudos on the classics.

The lunch *looks* good; too bad it didn't taste that way. Disappointing lunches are a bummer. Good thing there were Field Roast franks for dinner; I love those.

I've been catching up on your blog tonight and I want to tell you your recent posts have reminded me to put artichokes on my shopping list. :-)

You're so nice, eating the "bad" banana. Naughty bananas in this house get frozen, for use in smoothies.

There's not much worse than a disappointing meal. But as you said, tots always hit the spot!

Gotta love the tots! Major bummer that the lunch wasn't great but at least you made up for it with some serious comfort food for dinner. Am I the only one that doesn't think the banana looks bad?

I hope to see Chipotle soon :) I can't wait until I can eat rice again. Stupid Passover ;)

It's such a frustrating thing for me when I get a meal somewhere and it's not good. Like you said, at least you had some redeeming grub for the day.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, I always say: were it not for this blog, I'd live on Burgers/Dogs & Tots. Good stuff.

Miss Rachel, hope you really do make yourself an Artichoke or two. You deserve a little pleasure even if you aren't a member of our nations work force.

Ingrid, this Banana wasn't so far gone that it was freezer material.

VaVa, aren't Tots gluten-free? I read that Miley Cyrus is gluten-intolerant. Wish I could give up the stuff as well.

Molly, if only I'd picked the Adobo Black Bean Chili over the Mushroom Barley Soup. Live and learn.
