WTF Wednesday

Cucumber and Galaxy Cream Cheese on toast for breakfast.
Steamed Artichokes with Vegenaisse and Balsamic Vinegar for lunch.
Dinner was Blessed Mama's Maple Glazed Seitan Roast with HP Sauce and Baked Sweet Potato.
Now that was a food day. Go crazy with those comments!

Definitely a great food day! I am on the hunt for a couple of artichokes, as I'm curious to try your dipping mix. I can't believe I forgot to look for some yesterday when I was at WF! Too distracted by taking pics, I guess. Also, that particular WF does have the most vegan-friendly grub in Denver. If wasn't the furthest, it would help.

So I was going to comment on yesterday's food here just to be a pain in the ass but I decided against it ;) Totally comment worthy though!

Today definitely looked like a great food day!! I would never think of that combo for a dip for artichokes, very interesting. Breakfast looks great as it always does and the pie looks great every time. I really should just make the filling and eat it like pudding!

I checked out HP and agree that it would be a very suitable sauce for the roast. I used to love A-1 but stopped using it b/c of corn syrup - I think that's what it has, can't remember now. Anyhow, chokes look good - no undercooking, I assume. And, you can't go wrong with a pie like that. That usually doesn't feed five hungry vegans very well - just one piggie mama and four disappointed vegans with small slices.

This does look like a great food day, and you know, I totally forgot that I had bought an artichoke for myself until reading your blog this morning. So thanks for reminding me.

Can I take credit for starting the HP trend? (Actually, Sweetie was the one who suggested we buy it.)

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, your pics of the good WFs are the only thing that has ever made me interested in going to Denver. So that is something.

VaVa, the Artichokes with Vegenaisse & Balsamic is gluten free, I believe.

Blessed Mama, I learned my very unpleasant lesson regarding undercooking Artichokes. Your Blessings would got nuts for this pie.

Miss Rachel, you may take credit for the HP trend. An excellent recommendation.

Susan, the link to the recipe should come up if you hover your cursor over the name of the pie.
