Sliders and Smart Dogs

Due to a timing snafu (the restaurant we wanted to eat at wasn't open till 2:30), lunch was at Ruby Tuesday. We both had the Veggie Minis with AYCE Salad Bar and French Fries for $8.99. Even though it was AYCE, this was all I ate...
The Fries weren't as salty and dried out as I've had at RT's in the past. The 'sliders' were decent, but I'll be glad when this mini-burger fad passes.
Dinner was Smart Dogs, TJ's Fasiola Gigantes (Giant Beans) and Zucchini Pancakes with Sour Supreme.
Dessert was Coconut Cookie Dough Ice Cream. Great stuff.
Lots of Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot...

Wow, Ruby Tuesday....were you at the mall?

That salad looks good, but your dinner totally rocks over the Ruby Tuesdays sliders (so that's what sliders are...I was wondering). I've gotta get me some of those gigantic beans! Also, have you already posted the zucchini pancake recipe? If not...I'd be really interested.

I really like their veggie burgers -especially with fried onions on top!

Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or did you artfully stack your red onions and garbanzo beans and purposely place your tomatoes for our benefit again? I'm, I'm, I'm just so overcome.

I actually kind of like Ruby Tuesday's, believe it or not! The salad stuff is always quite fresh!

Hello, Ladies!

Stacy, I blame Mr. SV! Our original restaurant choice wasn't open, so we got back in the car and we (he) actually made a conscious decision to drive to a free-standing Ruby Tuesday's.

Rose, I put the recipe link up in the post. I'm sure you can do better Zucchini Pancakes on your own.

Michelle, quite frankly, I am surprised. But unlike Chipotle, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods etc, you are not missing out on anything by not having a Ruby Tuesday in your tiny hamlet.

Morgan, next time you go on vacation, let us know so we don't wonder what happened to you.

Susan, how come you haven't updated your blog for so long?

Blessed Mama, I can't get anything past you. Indeed I did manually re-compose/balance out my salad when I got back to my seat and before taking the pics.

Diane, you live in NYC, please promise me you will never waste a meal at Ruby Tuesday.

I second your comment to Dianne. We have a Ruby Tuesday, but I don't think they have vegan burgers! That's too bad.

i love the salad bar at ruby tuesday. i have eaten there countless times this summer and i am happy as a clam to eat there anytime my family wants to go out to eat. i haven't tried the sliders, i think i'll stick with the salad bar though.
