Another Great Food Day

Lunch was the Mediterranean Penne Pasta from Brio Italian Grille. Mushrooms, Spinach, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Caramelized Onions and Pine Nuts for $12.95
Dinner was Chesapeake Tempeh Cakes, Green Beans and a boiled Potato. A makeshift Tartar Sauce (Vegenaisse & Relish) was on the Tempeh Cakes.
Dessert was Chocolate Hazelnut Coconut Bliss on a slice of the cake that I made that only I am eating.
Lots of Liberty Creek Cabernet Sauvignon...

Your dinner looks great. Weirdly enough, I have been having a craving for simple boiled potatoes with just some salt and pepper, and this just intensified it.

Yum: it all looks good. I don't why it is...I just ate dinner, but now looking at all this food is making me hungry again. Can't believe that cake is still with us.

Wow, we had boiled potaotes twice this week, and you'll never believe it, but I'm going to post about it soon! That's right - boiled potatoes! Also, I cannot believe that cake has still survived. If ours lasts more than two days, I start taking everyone's temperatures.

I love going out to lunch so much more than going out to dinner. I guess I should start doing that on weekends. I also see Chesapeake cakes in my future as well.

Wow, this really was a great food day. I echo everyone else re the Chesapeake cakes, they look fantastic. I'm just starting to cook with tempeh and so far haven't done anything more than basically just fry it right out of the package...

Hello, Ladies!

Look at me rockin' the boiled potatoes. (Actually, Mr. SV requested them that way. He likes his food boiled. Such a wild man that guy).

Yes, there is still more cake yet to come -- at least four more days worth. Plus more Coconut Bliss.

The Chesapeake Tempeh Cakes are an incredible value. The recipe is inexpensive and easy but creates a sizable amount of food.
