A bowl of LPQ White Bean Soup with half of an Olive Oil 'Flute' for lunch...The 'Flute' (like a straight Bagel) does go well with the Soup because it doesnt get soggy....
A Gardein Stuffed Cutlet with Roasted Purple Caulflower for dinner...
The other half of my Common Market Pumpkin Streusel Crumbcake for dessert...
I do hope Unknown doesnt object to my posting a photo of her good friend, Mason. The burly boy recently succumbed to complications from a heart condition, but not before touching many lives in his Manhattan neighborhood. Who could resist that face?
Bye for now.

Oh i'm so sorry to hear about the pup:( that face is so sweet and cute. sending hugs
OMG!!! What a sweet little face! My heart just melted, such sad news he was such a beautiful boy. Thank you for sharing the pic Shen and Unknown.
Good looking meals today. The soup looks night and hearty and the flute looks like a perfect accompaniment. That pumpkin cake looks ridiculously good, how did it hold up? Did it still taste fresh?
I'm going to go back and look at Mason's adorable little face.
A straight bagel, where's the fun in that?
Nice purple cauli, delicious sounding dessert, a mushy amount of dog. A nice post.
Oooh, thanks for posting that! He really did just bring a smile to everyone's face and getting cuddles from him was always the highlight of my day.....
Great idea with the olive flute and the soup. All soup needs something bready for dunking, and olives are a bonus. What's with all your fancy purple veggies lately? Are purple carrots next? Supposedly they're full of more antioxidants and such.

Hey Now!!!!!
GFHTummy, you and Mason might've actually crossed paths. Who knows?
Sarah, alas, the Pumpkin Cake was dry, but i choked it all down. i cant stop looking at Mason's face, too. A very dear soul.
FF, a schmear of Cream Cheese on the Flute wouldnt hurt.
Unknown, leave it to you to take a phone pic that turns out better than my composed Nikon camera pics. I was looking for the Cheddar Cauliflower and instead saw the Purple. How could I resist? it was psychedlic.
