Sunday, November 2nd

This Tofurky Reuben from Common Market was the highlight of my elongated day....
Thought I would try making a Shortcut Stroganoff for dinner with Gardein Beefless Strips, Mushrooms and Peas...
Not as tasty as the real stuff with Sour Supreme and Shallots, but not bad...
Guess there is no dessert. Bye for now.

Oh yeah, Sour Supreme is essential to a stroganoff. Next time!

I'm sure your critters did not understand "we have an extra hour of sleep". My one critter did not...

Gorgeous sandwich! Nice toast marks on there too. Was it rye bread? I can't tell from the pic (but i think rye is always oval shaped....)
Mushroom stroganoff is amazing- but it does need that creamy something. And since when are macaroni dumplings a code for noodles? I thought you had found some kind of dried vegan dumplings!

My fairway is a great market with a good selection in the "veg*n shop here" cold case but there's still some stuff this spoiled rotten lazy girl wishes they would stock....

Does the Mr SV know you flirt with internet spammers? ;) I think once you're Vegan you're promoted from American, so no, american women =\= vegan women

The stroganoff looks pretty tasty regardless, but some vegan cream would have helped for sure.
I have enough of a headache that I just want to eat food I didn't make today but that would also involve leaving the house. Like that Reuben. I would like someone to bring me that Reuben.

The stroganoff looks really good, you did a great job! I have never had a stroganoff so I don't know the difference with or without the, sour cream but ill take everyone's word for it. The Reuben looks really good too, definitely looks like a successful food day!

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, I plan to add Sour Supreme when I reheat the leftover Stroganoff. Our Pups have been acting like teething fussy babies at their regular feeding times. It has been hell.

Unknown, it should have been Rye Bread on the Reuben, but now that you ask, i am not sure. Also clueless on why those Noodles are called Dumplings, but do stock up before the company realizes they're making vegan Noodles. does your Fairway vegan section have anything not seen here? Wondr if Mr. Boycott American Women will ever return?

FF, there is this newfangled thng called 'delivery'. people in urban areas can have food delivered to their door. That is one of the greatest perks of living in the city.

Sarah, have you still not had Veggie Chili?

Abby, I ate dessert tonight just for you and it really sucked.
