Monday, November 3rd

Two overly ripe Bartlett Pears for breakfast...
Common Market Eggless Egg Salad for lunch...
WF's Breaded Tofu with Roasted Cauliflower for dinner...
Common Market Pumpkin Cheesecake for dessert...
Sad to say, this dessert was a major fail. Rubbery filling, soggy crust and overly sweet frosting...It happens...
Lots of other delicious grub on the agenda for the week. Bye for now.

I'm not going to lie, I'm very bummed out for you about the cheesecake. Pumpkin cheesecake should always be a magical experience so to have such a crappy one really sucks. Lunch and dinner look great. I just got some cauliflower to roast this week. So good. Hopefully the dessert trolley holds lots of yummy treats to erase the bad cheesecake memory.

No chili yet :X I don't know why it doesn't appeal to me... I haven't had any desire to actually try it, I just feel like I should.

Would ya look at those beautiful pears. Sometimes nature's bounty is all the dessert we need, especially with things like disappointing cheesecake. I'm with Sarah - cheesecake should always be amazing, otherwise what is the point in living?
I've got about half a head of cauliflower ready to roast up, but no breaded tofu.

But sometimes overripe pears are the best ones! They are so juicy it drips everywhere and you have to slurp them... What a pretty ruffle on your lettuce today!
Ugh, that cheesecake does sound terrible. Hope you only bought that one pc.

Mr anti american women probably moved on to FF or ingrid's blogs.
I'm sure there is stuff my fairway has that i don't know that you don't have- if that makes sense. There are these amazing vegan dumplings made by the company macro vegetarian that i get with some frequency, there are a few different flavors but the shanghai flavor is my favorite. They're great cold or hot

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, that Pumpkin Cheesecake was a major letdown. Poo! maybe you arent interested in the Veggie Chili because there are pretty much guaranteed to be Pepper in it.

FF, so you're saying I should've had the Pears for dessert? Like do fruit and berries for dessert? Okay, maybe you're right. I have so much Cauliflower. Why is there so much Cauliflower everywhere?

Unknown, I would rather risk letting my Pears go bad rather than bite into an unripe one. I was thinking of buying some Dumplings at the Farmers Market recently, but the reheating seemed iffy. How do you prevent them sticking to whatever you're heating them up in?

GFHTummy, nothing worse than an under-ripe Pear (except an under-ripe Peach).
