This has not been the best week to blog my daily eats, but all of it tasted great...
and there is still even more Stroganoff left. Again, may be blah to look at but my tongue was happy...
the Gardein Burgers with Trader Joes Vegetarian Chili with Roasted Blue Potatoes was...delicious...
WF's Truffles for dessert...feel confident buying these as gifts for friends and loved ones this holiday...
Thanks for bearing with me this week. Bye for now.

Another Friday has come and gone. Hope Mama Shen is feeling better!
The eats have looked fall appropriate! And with the "polar vortex/super storm" on its way over the next few days, I hope to see more noodles and chili!
It is oatmeal weather now. That's great the stroganoff has help up well! If its yummy and you like it that's all that matters. Mr SV is nuts, that TJs veggie chili is very good! Its actually amy's organics repackaged for TJs- literally exactly the same ingredients in the same order. Can't remember what website reported that but i believe it.
Who doesn't freeze soup? I thought everyone's freezer had batteries, peas, coffee, vodka, soup, almonds, and an emergency pack of cigarettes...

I think everything looks great. Definitely a nice, warm comfort food day and I can see why! It's been freezing!! Your oatmeal looks so good and the stroganoff does too. A chocolatey dessert is always a great way to end the day :)
Hey Now!!!!
Ingird, thanks, Mama Shen is on the mend and should be fine in time for enforced Thanksgiving. I am already terrified of the polar vortex. There will be copius quantities of Soup to get through it.
Unknown, I am a fan of the TJ's Chili too. Should probably have a stockpile since I like it. My freezer is full of Bread, LPQ Muffins and Faux Meat (and one bag of Peas). Cigarettes?! Do you sit on the window sill and have a puff after one of those grueling days?
Sarah, you always say the nicest things.
