Organic Honey Crisp Apple for breakfast...
Lunch was at Brooklyn's Deli. 'Veggie Sandwich' $8.99. Spinach, Sprouts, Avocado, Cucumber, Carrots and Hummus on Pumpernickel...
comes with Pickles...
I also had a side order of Fries. All supremely excellent.
What does one eat for dinner after a great breakfast and lunch like that? Nuttzo and Sociables...
No food plans for tomorrow.  Might try to make a Salad.

"Nuttzo and Sociables" sounds like a buddy cop show.

I never thought of it before, but maybe Brooklyn is the name of the person who owns the deli! Victoria Beckham did it...why not?
The fries do look fantastic. I thought the Nutzo was pate of some sort. That would be fancy.

The Nutzo and crackers are the kind of dinner I'd have if Mike didn't cook so much (well, other than lately, of course).

Great looking lunch!

First off, I love how your occasional dinner is just crackers or something else very simple sometimes. I used to do that in my pre-kids days, and they were a relaxing way to eat. I'm thinking of having those teeth marks forensically tested for a crime spree that we've been having.

Ooh, love a good honeycrisp! That sandwich looks so good- and sprouts in there too..... Are those "half sour" pickles in there? Those make me sad, they just aren't ready yet for prime time. I hope those gorgeous fries found some ketchup...
The nutzzo! Do you ever eat raw carrots and nut butter? Great combo.

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, both cops would undoubtedly be extroverts. Who is going to write the pilot script?

FF, the DC area is known for its dearth of delis. Many aspire to be like the ones in NYC, so the name is to help us feel closer to that ideal. The sun going down at 5pm doesn't help my food photography one iota.

RVs, my jeans were looser this morning. I think those meals-for-one are kinder to the waistline.

Blessed Mama, guess it's pretty obvious Mr. SV was not home last night. So a criminal is chewing their way into homes and stores out there?

Unknown, I did learn a valuable Pickle lesson yesterday: not-so-green ones aren't so good. Never have had PB & Carrots ever. I don't think I'd like that combo. Thanks for the link to the LPQ founder. I've looked through his books at the restaurant and he is HAAAWWWTTT!!!! What a catch he would be.

OK that sandwich is out of control amazing looking!! And those pickles look like legit big ass deli pickles... the best kind to be consumed with a sandwich of that caliber. I love those big cut fries so your lunch looks pretty ideal to me! I think that was the perfect dinner to cap off your day ;)

No thai food and no pumpkin bagels yet :X I'm failing at life haha.
