WTF Tuesday

Bob's Red Mill Quick Cooking Oats with TJ's Dried Cranberries for breakfast. The non-quick cooking Oats taste better, but I do appreciate the speed at which these come together...
Asmar's Vegetarian Tuna Salad for lunch...
'Chipotle Chik'n Stew' from The Randy Radish for dinner. Beyond Meat Chicken Strips combined with Potatoes, Carrots, Onions, Garlic and Chipotle Peppers. Just the right amount of spiciness, the kind that builds slowly...
A slice of 'Sweet Potato Pecan Pie' from The Randy Radish for dessert. It will be a sad day when this pie is gone...
Nothing new under the sun to be eaten here tomorrow, but please come back anyway.

Luckily, you live in the land of endless vegan dessert pies and cakes, so I don't doubt your soul will feel bereft of that particular pie for long.

I think I'm going to be sad when you have no more pie too. Is Mr. SV partaking in this pie? Is he a pie guy? Been loving oatmeal too. Do you like any toppings other than cranberries? My oats are pretty high maintenance but oh so delicious. Lunch looks great! I'm impressed by those tomato slices. Winter tomatoes are definitely hit or miss but those slices look great! The stew looks nice and hearty on a yucky cold day.

I'm a fan of the slow burn when it comes to spicy foods, too. I also prefer regular oats but have been eating quick ones lately to save on time.

I agree with Hannah, there has to be something new and delicious on the dessert/pie trolly soon! Perhaps something gingerbread or holiday cookie inspired. . .

I CAN'T HANDLE THE RANDY RADISH! I AM SO JEALOUS!

Sorry for all the yelling.

Any kind of cooking for breakfast is impressive, and if quick makes your life easier then so be it! That stew is perfect for this cold damp weather lately- i wish i liked spicy stuff, i bet that helps warm you up too. It just makes me want to cry. Randy's pie still sounds amazing- do you heat it up or just have it room temp?

Haha, yes- i do have a sister.....she was veg for about a decade and i still give her $hit over the fact she went back to being omni.

Hey Now!!!!!

Hannah, I do hope you're right about that.

Sarah, Mr. SV did have one slice of the Pie, but it might not be simple enough for his tastes. I'm very low-maintenance when it comes to Oats. If it weren't for the blogosphere, I might actually eat them PLAIN!

RVs, I'm wondering if it's worth saving the 20 minutes to do the quick oats.

Ingrid, YOU SHOULD BE JEALOUS OF THE RANDY RADISH! All my vegan needs are being fulfilled!

Unknown, the Pie is eaten cold out of the fridge and is so awesome. I totally do not know how people can go back to eating meat. Maybe your sister will wise up again soon.
