Sunday, December 1st

Breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien. 'Tofu Scrambler' $9.95 with a 'half' a side of Avocado for only $1.95....
Salad off the WF's Salad Bar for lunch with Goddess Dressing and Fresh Gourmet Croutons applied after I got home....
As if I don't have enough faux meat at home already, I got some Tofu Meatloaf off the WF's Hot Bar to have for dinner with Baked Potatoes and Sour Supreme. Should have stuck with the faux meat I had at home. This Loaf was not to my pleasure...
Additionally, although I have a ton of freshly made seasonal treats at home, tonight I just felt like Cleo Cups for dessert...
I, for one, am looking forward to eating just the same old WFH grub tomorrow.

You are the only person blogging tonight, thank you for that.
Too bad about the meatloaf, it looks pretty good. I always end up regretting buying food when i know there is stuff at home but it happens anyway. Hard to resist the pull of novelty.
Those Cleo cups are hard to find around here. I think i prefer Justins anyway, but it would be nice to be able to, you know, make sure.

Based purely on visuals: Harriman's Scramble looks tastier, but LPQ gives the allusion of being healthier because it isn't as dense and is served with greens.

Okay, your WF wins. I've seen some Gardein slices - heated up from the freezer - on a couple of hot bars but no homemade faux meat. Even if it tasted poorly, you win. ;)

Do you use the breead to soak up the scramble juice on the plate? Looks a little wet today.
Nice veggie mix in the salad, and smart to add your own dressing and croutons. WF should be ashamed of a crummy tofu loaf, especially since they sell some brands that are so good!
I hope you mean conversation about hunting for..... Shooting stars. Or mushrooms.

I've had several loafs that just didn't cut it. I'm very picky about them.

Sometimes you just need pb & chocolate. I'll get very strong cravings for that combo sometimes!

I had the same thought as many of my fellow commenters... the tofu scramble looks a little runny today. It's crazy how much they charge for a quarter of an avocado but I definitely think it is worth it... avocado adds a lot to a tofu scramble, yum! Beautiful looking salad though!! At least you rounded out the day with the Cleo cups, yum!

I still think often of how incredibly kind you were to send me those Cleo Cups. It meant a lot.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, I'm here every night. Just like a mediocre hotel lounge act. I thought you said there wasn't anything you couldn't get in NYC.

Ingrid, Mr. SV loves Harrimans' Scramble better as well but I'm torn due to the other variables: one has Sausage & Potatoes but the other has Bread and excellent service. No way my WF's wins over yours -- no Peanut Sauce here. Maybe one day, you'll come back east and judge it all for yourself (and us).

Unknown,. The Scramble was totally soupy, used the WW Bread to clean my plate. Loved it anyway. Unfortunately, I don't mean those kinds of hunting.

RVs, I've hardly ever had a good Loaf. I think I made a good one once with the Vegan Lunchbox Loaf Maker, but didn't keep that recipe.

Sarah, would you please update your blog already! Come on! This is ridiculous.

Hannah, I can send things no problem. I just can't do such a great job packing or writing little notes like others do.

Oh lord me too. I hate that, now I live overseas, I feel like I have to write actual cards at Christmas rather than just labelling a gift tag.
