Ooooh perfect Sunday eating. LPQ makes a hell of a tofu scramble and I think the avocado definitely puts it over the top. Love the crusty bread on the side instead of just plain crappy white toast. Hooray for Loving Hut too! Tofu with mixed veggies is always a great choice. Very cool that you will be enjoying a holiday meal from there too. Are you going to try the corn chowder this time? It sounds so good!
Delicious day! LPQ's scramble always looks great, and that xmas menu sounds like a good one. I hope assorted desserts are equally delightful..... Your "pizza" from yesterday was gorgeous! Not sure it qualifies as a real pizza-but whatevs, i also love any menu item labeled clearly as vegan. That cake from yesterday was a great find!
I made some awesome green juice from all the fresh cali veggies and am happily covered head to toe in cat hair. They can tell i'm their kind of people and the three of us are now bffs :) Ttrockwood
That menu looks really good! I'm hoping my mom will take up the Xmas cooking duties. I haven't mentioned it and haven't made any preparations, so if I'm wrong it will be cheese puffs for dinner.
Hannah, the 'half' Avocado is supposed to be them there 'French' measurements, not regular American/Australian measurements.
Sarah, I am still debating between the Salad and the Soup. While their Corn Chowder is super excellent, I'm leaning towards the Salad so possible reheating issues wont arise at my mother's.
Unknown, I love any menu item labeled 'vegan' too! It makes such a big psychological difference. Thanks for the update on your visit. Still planning on baking Gingerbread?
Abby, from what I have seen on your blog, you will make a phenomenal vegan feast happen on Wednesday one way or an other.
Ingrid, like I told Sarah, I think Xmas Salad will be chosen just for ease. I don't do the LPQ Jam if I'm not the first one to get to the communal jar. You just never know who might have 'double dipped'. I'm not into Juan Pablo AT ALL (he's not a catch in any way that I can see), but I've underestimated ABC in the past, so I will definitely watch with low-expectations and hope to be surprised.

The quotations marks around "half" ther eare certainly warranted. SOmeone in that kitchen needs to relearn percentages.

But will you go with the salad or the chowder - I think that's the most important question.
I'm assuming there was jam on the bread at breakfast? ;)
P.S. I keep seeing the promos for the new Bachelor, and I'm just not feeling it. Or him.

i'm kinda confused by that menu. Where are the options? Or the either/ or?
You're confused by the menu? I'll have what you're having.
