An LPQ Carrot Cake for breakfast...
Our office Christmas Party was held today at the Dulles Westin. I loaded up on Grilled Vegetables, Hummus, Pita and Rice. It was all pretty mediocre...
Gardein Riblets and Cheezy Macaroni from The Randy Radish for dinner...
Lunch with Mom tomorrow...

I think any meal would be mediocre after that gorgeous carrot cake for breakfast. I guess on the bright side, at least they had food you could eat? Too bad it wasn't great but it seemed to be bookended by some pretty great meals. Dinner definitely made up for any mediocrity because it looks amazing! Gotta love that mac and cheese!

My work party is tomorrow evening, I'm hoping to find at least a cracker or veggie tray . . .

At least breakfast and dinner were excellent (by all appearances, anyway!). I'm really gravitating towards that mac. Yum.

Because I can't resist playing along: Chinese for lunch.

What a cute breakfast! I hope the office party meant a short day at least- i have yet to attend an office party with decent food options.....the year they did "italian" was amusing, almost. Never seen so much cheese on innocent veggies before in my life.
Dinner looks way better- glad randy makes you mac and cheese too!

And randy is awesome to have two servings of the soup for $9, i feel better knowing your wallet is not being taken advantage of ;)

The grilled veg look good! I feel like half the stuff I make for myself is mediocre anyway, not that you shouldn't complain. Complain away. Life's little pleasures. Well, that, and vegan carrot cakes.

Attended my first work party of the season yesterday and just concentrated on the mulled wine.

Your lunch may have been mediocre, but at least you could look at everyone else and know/think "Yeah, but my breakfast kicked your breakfast's ass".

Hey Now!!!!!

Sarah, true, I need to be more positive like you. I should have emphasized that we were lucky to have the hotel buffet rather than a potluck in the office like the last couple years..

Ingrid, I know you teachers love to party hard. Hope you don't get too crazy tonight. You used to be so great at guessing the lunches with Mom! We do have a lot of gift card credit to spend at PF Changs, however, we didn't go there today.

Unknown, unfortunately, we did have to go back to the office after the party. No alcohol allowed either. I was surprised that the Westin served such lousy food, I thought they were a little classier for some reason. Yes, Randy ain't cheap, but the quality is well worth it.

FF, the Grilled Veggies did look good, but I couldn't even chew the Celery or Fennel. More shameful that the innocent Veggies drowned in cheese at Unknown's party. What do you make that's mediocre? All your stuff always looks great (except for the plastic ice cream scoop).

AB, no alcohol allowed for our office because our company is related to helping people with addictions and mental illness or something. I need to get on this Mulled Wine thing right away. The universe has now pinged me twice about it.

Hannah, this is the second day in a row you've come up with a great suggestion way too late for me to do anything about it.
