Friday, December 20th

Guess it's officially winter: Breakfast was a Grapefruit with two Goji Energy Bites...
Lunch was at Aroma Espresso Bar. I had the 'Soup and Sandwich Combo' $9.90  A bowl of Tomato Basil with Rice Soup...
and a half a 'Vegan Portobello Sandwich' Grilled Portobello Mushrooms, Pesto, Tomatoes, Arugula and Red Onions. While it wasn't the most spectacular lunch, I felt healthy after eating it and, more importantly, wasn't dying of thirst...
Boca Burgers with TJ's Vegetarian Chili and Oven Fries for dinner...
A slice of 'Sweet Potato Pecan Pie' from The Randy Radish for dessert....
A very good food day. How many of us can say that?

A very good food day indeed!! Ahh the return of the grapefruit/goji bite breakfast. The lunch looks really phenomenal that is so disappointing to hear that it wasn't that great! What was disappointing about it? Hooray for oven fries and pie!!

You'll be happy to know I FINALLY got some Thai food for lunch today! And I'll have some tomorrow too since I couldn't finish it, ha!

I am picking up some citrus this weekend! So excited! I think your lunch sounds great - although they should have added avocado to round out the flavor.

Chili is on my menu for this week. This is inspiring me to serve it over a baked potato. . .

Great breakfast- those bites are really good, i should pick up some more....
The soup sounds like a better version of tomato soup, just more hearty. Sandwich seems good enough for an omni place- it does look like a very healthy lunch too.
Glad there is still some pie around for you, though i really can't believe that it's not a bit stale by now ....

I landed out in cali to visit the parents for a while today, lots and lots of fresh veggies in my near future. And Al and Piggy are giving me some kitty cuddles as i type :)

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, my lunch yesterday was sorta bland, although the soup was hot. So relieved you finally got that Thai carryout. Phew!

Ingrid, Chili on a Baked Potato is great, or, of course, on Oven Fries. Even better with Daiya and Sour Supreme.

Unknown, Al & Piggy sound like great emissaries. I wonder if they'll spend the nights with you during your stay. Glad you made it there safely.

Hannah, I always wondered about those half sandwich deals as well. I assume the chef eats the other half.
