Sunday, October 28th

Breakfast was the Fried Dill Pickle Chips at Clare & Dons Beach Shack...
Lunch was the Blackened Tofu Sandwich. All so awesome. Love that place.
Boca Burgers and Swiss Chard for dinner.
Half a very rich Chocolate Cupcake from Natalia's Elegant Creations for dessert.  You can't go to Clare & Don's without stopping into Natalia's afterwards.
Working from home eats tomorrow, as I am not risking my life to get into the office.

I definitely agree that it is not worth risking your life to go to work. Stupid hurricane. Didn't it get the memo that it's almost November? Ridiculous.

Holy crap I want those pickles!! That was on my list of restaurant recreations to make but I never got to it! I'll have to definitely try it soon though because it sounds amazing. The sandwich looks really great too!

Your heirloom tomato haul is seriously causing some major jealousy here. Such beautiful colors and I'm sure they taste amazing. The chard looks great and you can't go wrong with a rich cupcake for dessert!

Hopefully you get to keep your power :) i'm ready to go without it for a while but hopefully I won't have to! Stay dry and safe ;)

The news reports I'm hearing make it sound like many offices and schools are taking the day off - I think you should take the day from working altogether! I hope you, the Mister, and the critters are able to stay warm and dry.

I am liking Clare & Don's quite a bit, it all looks great! Gorgeous tomatoes on the Boca Burgers!

I'm pissed - my store shut down early today and is closed tomorrow but those are my normal days off anyway! Lame.
Pretty brave to head to a "beach shack" with the storm nearing but it looks like the meal was worth it.
Hope you and all the animals stay safe.

Yum - what a delicious and colorful day. I hope you and the critters stay safe during the storm. Do you have to board up the chicken coop or anything?

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, the pickles must be relatively easy to make, but I have no clue how they do it. Hope you keep your power to let us know how the doctor's appt went.

Ingrid, it was a major day of closures here. Everything was closed except our office.

FF, I am sort of in the same boat (no pun intended) re work. Our office is officially 'closed', but I have to still WFH. so no real benefit. They were totally battening down the hatches at The Beach Shack yesterday. Hope you and Haxan stay safe as well.

GFHTummy, it was a great cupcake (even though it was Chocolate and not Broccoli with Carrot Icing).

Miss Rachel, yes, we made sure to board up the barn.
