Since Loving Hut is on the way home from D.C., I couldn't pass by without stopping in for a Crispy Burger.
After all that, I wasn't planning to eat again for the day, but just succumbed to a little Eggless Egg Salad.
Coming up tomorrow: Cutting back.

Yum! That french toast platter looks so delicious! When I have the luxury of going to a good vegan brunch I can never decide if I want a savory item like tofu scramble or a sweet item like french toast. I love that you get a bit of each! That crispy chick'n sandwich looks ridiculously yummy like always! Yum, great looking grub!
If I had your food today, I would pull out my "nothing sounds good" funk. How was the wait for a table at Sticky Fingers? A Crispy Burger for lunch sounds totally reasonable, especially if you were close by!
Wow, what an awesome Saturday! The french toast plate looks incredible as does Loving Hut as always!
Is that blueberry jam with the French toast? And, bonus questions, do you drink anything with yr breakfasts? Coffee? Tea?
oh my gosh could you have had a more delicious day of eats! holy cow that french toast! mmm!
I agree it all the food looks so good, but I'm also admiring the table design in the first pic. Looks very 60s, mod style.
What's in the little bowl next to the french toast that looks like it has some cheezy shreds on top?
The crispy burger looks awesome!
Hey Now!!!
VaVa, it will be educational for me to see what you are allowed on your anti-Candida regimen. Doubt anything I had yesterday would qualify.
Ingrid, we timed Sticky Fingers just right, but all the tables were full by the time we left. You order at the register and then wait at your seat till they call your name with your food.
Mary, vegan restaurants aren't as plentiful here as in So Cal, I hit two of the best ones yesterday.
FF, ha! It's 'Blueberry Syrup' with the French Toast and Iced Tea on the side.
GFHTummy, we're living to eat here. Not eating to live.
Miss Rachel, yes, the restaurant design if supposed to be 'retro' I suppose.
Rose, that little bowl on the right has the best Grits ever in it. Well, the best Grits east of the Mississippi.
