Lunch was a Korean Noodle Dish that I got off the WF's Salad Bar the other day. The dish was called 'Japchae' and it was made with the Beyond Meat product that I've been seeing on other blogs. This was my first encounter with Beyond Meat, and I may have overdosed. Sort of gave me a headache.
Boca Burgers and Baked Potatoes for dinner.
Looks like I'm going to bed without dessert tonight. Hoping to pick up PF Changs tomorrow.

I didn't have Cream of Wheat, but I did have Malt-o-meal. Oatmeal is still better.
Other than the OD, did you like the taste of Beyond Meat? It tastes like Gardein in my mind.
Hahaha I feel like I'd stick to oatmeal too. Probably also because I have a massive bag of oats to get through. Bummer about the OD, strange that it would give you a headache? Dinner looks like it would make up for it though, look at those gorgeous tomatoes! And baked potatoes are always yummy.
We haven't seen desserts in a while now! Your dessert trolley must be getting dusty!
Never had cream of wheat. Sorry it didn't work for you but it's nice to change things up every once in a while. I've heard of japache but never seen it. What do you think the headache was due to? Salt?
I made "chapchae" (with just vegetables) once from Madhur Jaffrey's World of the East Vegetarian Cooking. It was good, but there was a lot of finely chopping vegetables which got a bit tedious.
Cream of wheat...bleh...we used to eat that, not something I miss.
I'm interested in the japchae, sounds like an interesting dish.
I think I had some of that Beyond Meat stuff in a wrap I got at WF a few months ago...was kind of too much like the real thing for me.
Hey Now!!!!
Ingrid, I never had Malt-O-Meal. I'd like to try it though. Yeah, the Beyond Meat was just like Gardein.
VaVa, just haven't been in a sugar eating mood lately. Strange.
FF, your Mother never made you Cream Of Wheat when you were little???? Shame on her!
Miss Rachel, the JapChae did look quite complex. I wouldn't attempt to make it myself.
Rose, the Japchae was pretty good, I just ate too much of it. It was like something Zoa would've made.
