A relatively healthy breakfast...
Lunch was a Burrito Bowl from a Chipotle-like place called Boloco. Unlike Chipotle, Boloco offers oven-roasted Tofu, so that is nice.
Chicken-Fried Rice from WFs for dinner. Interesting factoid: the Pups go crazy from the smell of this Rice dish. I don't get a moments peace while eating it.
'Pecan Fingers' from Outpost Natural Foods for dessert. One of those food items that make you glad you're vegan.
Coming up tomorrow: Lunch with Mom at Cheesecake Factory.

OMG yum what a great day! The burrito bowl looks good and I love the addition of the tofu. I wish my Whole Foods had rice like that! I can totally understand your pups trying to get a taste! The pecan fingers look sooooooo good! Yum! Great day!
Good luck at the Cheesecake Factory tomorrow ;) I went there for my friend's birthday dinner and had the Asian lettuce tacos with no chicken and they were pretty good!
PS sorry if this posts a million times, I'm having a hard time with my internet connection tonight!
I think I was just overtired yesterday. Wish I could say it was Robotripping or something fun.
I'm very interested in roasted tofu at a burrito place! Usually it's all beans. The bowl also looks very different.. it's like a Twilight Zone Chiptole.
I haven't had those pecan fingers in months, but now I'm starting to crave them. I might have to get a bag this weekend.
It's cute that the pups go crazy for that rice dish. It must smell terrific!
A friend told me that she thinks the Thai lettuce wraps are vegan if you leave the chicken off. I've never eaten there, but they sound intriguing.
Did you really have your fried rice with chopsticks?!? I am super impressed if you did.... And as of two days ago there is a chipotle on the corner of my block- i cant decide if this is a good thing... Maybe i'll have to just eat it every day for a month to get it out of my system :)

Peanut butter banana was my go-to breakfast for a very long stretch. Good memories. Now I'm on a carrot & peanut butter kick. The tofu burrito bowl looks great and does that fried rice have the Beyond Meat chicken in it? The WF in Portland just started using the Beyond Meat stuff in all of their vegan "meat" dishes.
I am out of avocado or I would make a burrito bowl at home today, that looks so good! Too funny about the pups going crazy!
Hey Shen,
Sorry I've been absent all summer; it was a crazy one around here.
A good, solid day of food chez your place, as usual!
The burrito bowl looks really colorful and yummy.
Hey Now!!!
VaVa, unfortunately, you only posted once;-( I didn't want to deal with asking for anything specially made at the restaurant. If I go again soon, I'll see if they can handle it.
FF, it's interesting to see the effect that Chipotle is having on the restaurant landscape (at least in our area). Maybe this competition will make Chipotle start to offer Tofu.
Molly, you're so lucky to be able to buy a bag of the Pecan Fingers whenever you want! But is it worth those Wisconsin winters? I'm not sure. If I was w/Mr. SV I might risk ordering the Lettuce Wraps, but with my Mom it's best to keep it as simple as possible.
Unknown, yes, I have a weird issue with Asian food where I must eat it with chopsticks. The thought of eating Asian food with a fork grosses me out. I hope your new Chipotle doesn't have a line out the door like our local Chipotle. You'll get sick of that right quick.
Nikki, I just heard about 'Beyond Meat' a couple days ago on Ingrid's blog. It hasn't reached us yet. This was just WF's east coast Seitan in the Fried Rice. Peanut Butter and Carrot is a new one on me. You should show that on your blog. Sounds like 'food on a dare'.
Mary, WFs is putting something in the Fried Rice that drives dogs wild.
Rose, I'm just glad you're back. I've missed you. Wish Zoa would return as well. And the Michelles.
