Saturday, October 20th

We tried seeing some fall foliage today, but none of my pics captured the vibrant colors.
Fortunately, lunch was a success at Artisan's Grill in Luray. Starting with the Mushroom Pate $7...
I had 'The O'Keeffe Wrap' $6.95 filled with Roasted Seasonal Vegetables, Sweet Pea Hummus, Tomatoes and Garlic Basil Olive Oil.
Celebration Field Roast with Roads End Savory Herb Gravy and Mashed Potatoes for dinner.
A third of a piece of Spice Cake from Everlasting Life Cafe for dessert.
A great food day. Yay for me.

A great food day for sure. you don't see sweet pea hummus just any old where. The fries on the side look great as well.
But really, it looks like a great day even without the food. The landscape is beautiful! So, so beautiful. We should house swap; I'll take care of the animals, eat mushroom pate and roll around on hills - you and mr. SV can try too find vegan egg bagels and sleep in a cramped room. Deal?

That landscape photo is gorgeous! You can definitely see the beautiful colors, it looks so pretty!

Definitely an amazing food day! Mushroom pate, how fancy ;) The wrap looks very delicious and I seriously want a piece of spice cake. I freaking love spice cake.

I love the photo! Rolling hills, trees - really lovely.

Your wrap look fantastic, and some lovely thick cut fries too!

I've already been telling myself that I need to have the Celebration Roast this year for Thanksgiving. Now I'll just watch for the sales!

Hey Now!!!!

FF, I'd be all for that life swapping thing if you still lived with G. I'm still suspicious of the new roommate situation.

VaVa, pulleeze. My pics sucked so bad it is pitiful. I have no clue what is necessary to capture the colors in the mountains. A telephoto lens?

Melissa, it really was a great day of food. It takes a lot of work to get a day of food like that.

Ingrid, if only my pics really captured the beauty. It's definitely Celebration Roast season. Time is flying.

Rose, I think I liked the Sweet Pea Hummus. I inhaled the wrap so fast, I didn't take time to differentiate the individual ingredients.
