WTF Monday

Eggless Egg Salad from The Common Market for breakfast.
Color me thrilled to see that Trader Joe's now has Gardein Crispy Tenders in their frozen food case for $2.99/eight ounce bag. That's a saving of at least $1/bag.
With Heinz-57, half a bag was my delicious lunch today.
Tempeh and leftover Lentils from Everlasting Life Cafe for dinner.
Yellow Cake with Chocolate Icing from Everlasting Life Cafe for dessert. The bomb.
Coming up tomorrow: Back to sitting in my cube all morning, ruminating on a lunch destination.

Booo for having to go into the office tomorrow. If only we could all work from home every day. Ahh that would be the life.

Meals are looking great as always! Funny you had those Gardein tenders for lunch today... I had a major craving for them! Glad you got to enjoy them for both of us ;) Dinner sounds great and the cake looks yummy! Great food day :) Looking forward to see where you end up for lunch tomorrow!

Eggless egg salad, huh? Sounds like a lotta nothin.
What's the deal with those lentils? Are they spiced? I thought about cooking some up today but the only lentil dish I know how to do is lentil soup.

Seeing your cake lately and birthday cake at work (that was non-vegan) finally drove me to bake a cake tonight.

Great find on the tenders. I love finding stuff for so much cheaper.

I'll trade you the Vegan Van for Everlasting Life Cafe.

"Pecking order" - ha ha! I hadn't given much thought to the idea that the saying might actually be true. . .among chickens.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, I don't think the Gardein Tenders are gluten free. You've got me on the lookout for that stuff. At least my breakfast qualified.

FF, you're right -- what is Eggless Egg Salad? Deep thoughts. These Lentils are just cooked into a semi-thick paste. Really tasty but I've no clue what mystery ingredients go into them. Still working towards recreating the Rising Sun Smoothie. One thing at a time.

Molly, looking forward to seeing what you baked for yourself (and the pups?)

GFHTummy, thanks for looking!

Ingrid, a trade sounds like a cool blogging project. The 'pecking order' is all too true. It's so sad for the hens at the bottom of the order. They really get picked on.
