Sunday, June 10th

It was a heavy bread day. PB & Banana on WF's Pumpernickle for breakfast.
Lunch was the Roasted Red Pepper Hummus with Pita appetizer while watching Prometheus.
(No pics allowed in the theatre)
Dinner was an Avocado, Tomato and Cucumber sandwich on more WF's Pumpernickle.
Maybe tomorrow I'll try to reduce my bread consumption.

Breakfast looks great! I'm totally craving pb and banana now. I've never had it on pumpernickel though, interesting combo! I love adding cinnamon to it, yum!

Glad you got to go to the movie! Hope you had a good time! Can't go wrong with hummus and pita :)

Your dinner sounds really good too. Love avocado sandwiches. I'm very jealous of the pumpernickel.

How does pb & banana taste on pumpernickel? I'm thinking a contrast with the salty sweet toppings...

However, pumpernickel makes your dinner sandwich sound really delicious!

You sure did a good job of making me crave bread in this post, Shen.
And I haven't craved bread in ages. Naughty!

Haven't ever tried pumpernickel. Is that some type of rye type bread?

I haven't had pumpernickel bread in ages. I'm going to pick up a loaf tomorrow! And that combination with avocado is pure genius.

Sorry to hear Prometheus wasn't that great.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, I always think of you adding Cinnamon when I make these sandwiches, but I think it would make it more dessert than savory if I do that. I'm trying to behave down here.

Ingrid, there must be something in Pumpernickel that my body is lacking. Hoping this need passes soon.

Isotope, yes, Pumpernickel I believe is in the Rye family of breads.

Bean, you might like Prometheus. Apparently, a knowledge of the Alien(s) trilogy as well as Ridley Scott's mindset is required to really appreciate it. I went into the movie lacking the necessary tools for understanding.

GFHTummy, thanks for looking!

I have been craving avocado/tomato/roasted red pepper sandwiches lately...you've made that more intense! YUM.

I'm probably going to have to make it reality now...especially since I disappointed you with the radish burrito!! :) :)
