After getting stuck in two ugly backups yesterday (40 minutes late getting to work/20 minutes late meeting for lunch), I decided to stay home today and just relax. For lunch, I had a cup of Pistachios while cleaning up the DVR.
Dinner was Celebration Field Roast w/Road's End Organic Gravy, Steamed Chard and a Baked Potato with Sour Supreme and Bac'Uns on top.Dessert was a Jokerz Bar.
Lots of Black Swan Shiraz Merlot...

I like how you change the Shenandoah photo with the seasons. I also like the idea of staying home and take it easy..good for you!
I like the field roast Italian sausages, but have never tried the celebration loaf. It looks like nice hearty meal.
The chard looks perfectly done. Is it really just steamed? I should try that!
ok, the joker bar, is that the mock milky way bar? and there is a "twilight"(?) bar thats a snickers right? i will be checking back obsessively till you answer!
yes yes everything else looked great....get back to me!
Hello, Ladies!
Rose, the Celebration Field Roast is so freakin' delicious. Well worth the price.
Dianne, there was about a half inch of water in the pot when I put the chard in, put the lid on, put the burner of medium and left for 20 mins.
Michelle, I actually thought the Jokerz => Snickers, but you're right, it did seem more like a Milky Way. Sure was good, I'll say that. I haven't tried a Twilight yet to know what it is supposed to mimic.
did you like the jokerz bar?? i was thinking about ordering from cosmo's vegan shoppe, but i wasn't sure which kind i wanted.
Kimberly, the Jokerz bar was incredibly delicious. I ran across them at a local grocery store called 'Wegmans'. I don't know if they have them near you. They had a bunch of all the varieties so I stocked up.
so if you found a letter at your house with a postage paid return envelope with money inside...what are the chances i would find a joker at my door....
hypothetically speaking?lol
i did notice the change of picture but i just wasnt sure, i really like that idea.
