You think mr SV minds you showing his nuts on the blog like that?
Nice looking smoothie, I am all about them since it's so hot, but also I feel real-food deficient, it's so easy to cram a ton of healthy, delicious stuff in there.
The half a cake slice looks smaller than I would think. The VT stuff they sell at Atlas here is huge slabs. Like, almost inedibly big.

Haha I'm glad FF made the first comment about the nuts because I definitely had a similar thought when I read that sentence. The smoothie looks great... I may have to train myself to like spirulina so I can get that extra green boost. The strawberries are beautiful and I really need to make that mac and cheese muffin. The cake looks AMAZING! It makes me even more sad that I can't eat orange zest anymore, wah! Damn allergies!

FF's snarky comment made me snort iced tea through my nose!!
Love adding dates in smoothies, been having a lot of them lately- but more savory than fruity. Great you're still getting such gorgeous strawberries.
That cake looks really wonderful! Sounds like a great flavor combo too.

I can't believe the Mr doesn't like avocado! Not even guacamole?? Since you're a regular at that LPQ someone should be able to figure out how to put a 'fu scramble in a box instead of on a plate....

The smoothie sounds delicious! I could go for a pound of watermelon for lunch right about now. The whole day sounds pretty spectacular.

My question remains: are you still iPad only? Or have you been able to get a replacement (I thought Apple did that for their wares?)

Hey Now!!!!!

FF, I cleared it with Mr. SV first before showing his nuts. I think the VT cakes are delivered whole and then cut up upon arrival. This was super rich cake, so I'm okay with the portion. It willl take a few days to get the D.C. out of your system.

Sarah, you should post a list of what you're not allergic to.

Unknown, I am still wondering how to bring up getting the Tofu Scramble to go. Dont want to be a pain. It is enough they are still willing to make the Scramble for me. They always say that it will be lacking Daiya or some thing or other before agreeing to serve it. Mr SV 's likes and dislikes are hard to keep track of. No Guac, no Mayo, no non-yellow Mustard, no Coconut...the list goes on and on...

Ingrid, sorry, i thought it was obvs from the lousy pics and spelling errors and different fonts that I am still on the IPad. I may try bringing the laptop back to the store to see if they can take it in for repair. They would charge for it though.
