Oooh another great food day. Your bagels always make me so hungry :) I need to remember to buy scallions so I can mix them in with tofutti. Have you every tried macerated strawberries? They are so damn good, especially when you use it to top ice cream ;)

The cookie looks great, how did it hold up? Did you keep it in the fridge?

How quickly do you go through a container of that cream cheese? It always looks like you have a hefty schmear on there. I might have to get a bagel soon, after that last day's disappointment in DC.
I also bought Daiya (on sale!) the other day, I guess intrigued by it from the Sticky Fingers breakfast burrito, and made cheezy broccoli. No boca burgers on the side though.

Gorgeous bagelwich! And your fruit meals are much more understandable than the previous plain celery without even salt phase that you had ;)
I swear the weird colored tomatoes like your purply brown one at dinner just taste better. I wonder what else lurks in your fridge....

Yikes- avoiding communal table of small children is very important to enjoying brunch! (Not a lot of kids at brunch places i go to in nyc but strangely there were several loud ones at the bar/restaurant i went to with friends to see the world cup last sunday. Not funny. My second bloody mary didn't even make it ok...)

I picked up some strawberries yesterday, and thought you'd appreciate that purchase. Perhaps I will have the whole container after yoga tomorrow morning! Broccoli is on my list next for shoving in my face. When I returned, I immediately ate steamed kale because apparently it hasn't mainstreamed to English restaurants yet.

Hey Now!!!!!

Sarah, what do you macerate the Strawberries in? The Cookie was more crunchy than chewy, but sooooo deliishus.

FF, it's hard to make Daiya taste as good at home as in a restaurant. I think you need an industrial oven. I get about three servings per tub of Cream Cheese in my never-ending quest to recreate a NYC Schmear.

Unknown, this fruit phase is very pleasant. It is all thanks to some extreme sales. I'd have major brunch rage if some screeching demon baby ruined my $15 Bloody Mary enjoyment. The potential for violence exists in that circumstance.

Ingrid,, ha! Sounds like somebody needs some fiber after all the exotic eats.
