Sunday, June 15th

Lunch was in a darkened booth of The Cheesecake Factory, where my Mother took me, Mr. SVegetarian, my brother and his kids to lunch for Father's Day.  I got my usual 'Fresh Vegetable Salad' $9.95 minus the cheese. Good meal for mindlessly shoveling in amidst much external stimuli....
'Mixed Vegetables and Tofu' (aka #22) $8.95 carried out from Loving Hut for dinner...
A small portion of a 'Campfire Smores Cookie' from Great Sage for dessert...
Phew! Lots of going hither and yon this weekend. Back to being home bound tomorrow. Bye for now.

Aunt Shen and Uncle Mr.Shen, visiting with niece/nephews! I bet Mother enjoyed having you all together.

I will accept your request for an extension on the Everlasting Life Cafe assignment.

Aww it must have been so nice to to have everyone together for Father's Day! Sounds like a really lovely afternoon.

A campfire s'mores cookie?! I feel like I need that in my life. Sounds amazing! Gotta love Loving Hut meals as well :)

At least cheesecake factory has a good sized salad option- looks like a lot of colorful veggies in there too! And the cilantro ontop of the tofu and veggies is a great idea- but i will put cilantro on anything...
That cookie looks amazing! Never seen a vegan smores cookie before.

I've been making and drinking an obscene amount of super green juice with tons of ginger and lemon, i'm uninterested in solid food when feeling crummy.

Sounds like a sweet get together at the Cheesecake Factory. How old are yr brother's kids?? my brother is in town this weekend from SanFrancisco and I'm always happy to see him.
The s'mores cookie looks fantastic. Never heard of anything like it. The way you only ever eat half of desserts is just like sharing anyway! Does mr. SV not have a sweet tooth?

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, I get the impression that you are a real pushover when it comes to your students.

Sarah, so everyone except you has now posted on their Fathers Day. Just sayin....

Unknown, don't forget super spicy Asian Soups. Any vegan Hot Hot Shabu Shabu up there? Maybe this heat wave will sweat the toxins out of you faster.

FF, The Cheesecake Factory has really done some major corporate research on how to please everyone. My brothers kids are college age, so I guess they aren't such kids anymore. Mr. SV does have a sweet tooth, but, when he eats dessert, he usually likes to eat it BEFORE dinner. Lots of other dessert stipulations are involved.

Abby, it's a pretty impressive Smores Cookie. I'm going to consume it slowly over a period of days to study it further.
