Friday, June 20th

Knowing that lunch would be at Brooklyn's Deli, I wisely skipped breakfast this morning. Below is my Ginormous 'Veggie Sandwich' $8.99 Spinach, Sprouts, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Avocado, Cucumbers and Carrots with Hummus....
as well as lots of Fries I consumed...
not to mention the never ending Pickle Bowl...I know one type of Pickle is the favorite and one type is not, but I still don't know which is which...
I was pretty stuffed after all of the above, so just more Roots Market Potato Salad for dinner...
Speaking of which, two weeks till July 4th...
Bye for now.

I am mystified as to why they have such an amazing stuffed full of veggies sandwich on their menu in the first place but it looks so good i would never question it! Those fries look nice and crispy brown too.
The darker colored pickle in your photo is the kind i prefer, its just brined longer.
The potato salad is only three days past its expiration date! Are you sure its ripe enough to eat yet?? ;)

I ran into mason's mommy at the little market in our neighborhood but mason was home- i tried to hide my dissappintment. We discussed our favorite summer wines (rose for her, sweet bubbly ones for me).

This is only like half a day's food. I want my money back.

I wouldn't eat breakfast either if I knew that lunch was in my future. It all looks amazing, the sandwich is perfect. It's funny, I'm the opposite of Unknown, I like the brighter green pickle. I think that makes me a bad Jew but I don't care... I like my pickles crispy and less sour. Although if I had a sour pickle I'd still chow down on it ;)

Do you have any 4th of July plans? It seems like it may be a holiday you actually enjoy? ;)

I would still eat breakfast but it would be a few squares of chocolate, so maybe that doesn't count? Gorgeous sandwich.

Hey Now!!!!

Unknown, let's not confuse 'Sell By' dates with 'Best By'. Wonder if Mason was floating blissfully in his baby pool? He needs a 24/7 webcam site. What is a good sweet bubbly wine for summer? I'm not clued into this.

FF, I eat so much for this blog! It's killing me!

Sarah, this pickle issue is causing me no end of confusion. Which is better? The bright green or the pale green? Now religion had entered into it! Actually, July 4th is my least favorite of all holidays, but Potato Salad reminds me of that day.

Hannah, Chocolate for breakfast? Somebody needs to be monitoring you. Time to go home to your Mom.
