Yummy Goodness

Asmar's Veggie Tuna Salad Sandwich for lunch...
Morgan's Sweet Potato Soup with Tempeh for dinner. Morgan was quite insistent that everyone make this soup ASAP. Now I see why. It is freakin' fantastic. Plus it helped to finally get the taste of those Garlic Herb Wraps from yesterday out of my mouth.
A Potato Chip Cookie for dessert.
Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot.

Ditto Dirty Duck's declaration! :-) Your soup looks irresistible! I love sweet potato soup, but never thought of putting tempeh bacon in it! Yum.

Your sandwich looks great too. I just made a double batch of vegan tuna ('tunnot") today, it's one of my favorites. Where did you find such beautiful red tomatoes this time of year? The ones around here are so pale and mealy, I won't even acknowledge their existence.

That soup does sound really good, even without checking out the recipe. Which I will do soon.
So you liked the cookies? You didn't really say one way or the other yesterday.

That cookie recipe does look crumbly, but very good. What a yummy day - I love the olives with the "tuna" and tomatoes.

Tuna sandwich doesn't rate sliced pickles on the side?

Oh yeah, it does look yummy! I think it's safe to say that the soup is a stunner! I'm putting it on list for this week.

Michelle1, yeah, I can't wait till I forget that wrap. Super gross.

Laloofah, the tomatoes are those on-the-vine kin. I leave them on the counter for several weeks before using.

FF, the cookies are just so-so. If I worked in your office, I'd put the rest out on the 'Piranha Table'. Instead, I'll just wind up eating them all.

Jessica & Blessed Mama, I'm subbing Olives for Pickle Chips just to keep things exciting around here.

Rose, the soup is just your style. Very 'restaurant quality'.

i'm jealous of your fake tuna...that seems to be something i need to try soon. i haven't had tuna in years, but i used to eat it all the time in my younger years.
