Field Roast with Rice & Beans and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. Sarah Kramer's 'Like A Virgin' Cherry Pie. Blueberry adornment courtesy of Mr. SV. Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot.
so...question...do you ever want to eat something but don't because you don't necessarily want to show a picture of it on here? like, do you ever just want to slop some things on a plate? i'm just asking because i eat some lame things sometimes. and not necessarily just lame - just really messy looking sandwiches that might gross everyone out.
Re: Jenny's comment, Jenny, I'm the same; I eat some weird combos and sometimes just big bowls of stuff all mixed in together...that's partly why I don't post about all my meals...that, and I just don't have the discipline to.
Weren't those the same rice and beans that you said a few days ago weren't tasty? A frugal girl you are then, and one after my own heart! Eat every last grain!
Jenny, that question is hilarious! I feel like most everything I make looks like slop on a plate. I post everything I eat except breakfast (usually Grapefruit & a little bag of nuts). And soon I'll post a pic of myself so readers will stop imagining a monster behind the blog.
Rose, if I ever made works of art type meals, like you do, I would only post those. This blog is just to let other vegans know they're not alone 'out there'.
Deb, don't get your hopes up too high.
Dianne, I know. It was a humongous blueberry. You can still make the pie even though it's not February. I intend to make it again.
Jessica, thanks! I know you're a fellow Veggie Burger lover.
Blessed Mama, these are the good Rice & Beans (Neuva Cocina). Very good. One box could probably feed five hungry vegans. The bad ones (TampoBamba? Avoid!) were not shown again. But, yes, I'm a card-carrying member of The Clean Plate Club and all food is better disposed of in my belly than the trash.
Michelle2, Mr. SV is gonna get a big head over his big blueberry!
I wouldn't have said your food ever looks too sloppy. When you focus in on the shot, I guess that helps. I was just thinking of how much pressure it would be to show my food every meal. Great job there!
The photo anticipation is killing me...maybe you could just start out with a simple age range clue. Like, check one: 20-30, 30-40, 40-50, above 50.

Love the little blueberry adornment. :)

I need to head over to Red Robin and check them out. I have never eaten there before:)
That is a BIG blueberry! That pie looks so good, kind of bummed I didn't make it this month :-(
Never, ever be embarrassed to show us a photo of Red Robin boca burger. That could be on an ad, with the red onion and pickles all peeking through.
I don't eat gross looking food and I don't think you should, either.

Red Robin rocks! I love that they have never ending fries....yum!
I missed the blueberry adornment that Rose mentioned. I had to go back and check it out. That little blueberry just made the pie. :o)
