WTF Wednesday

Breakfast was Kashi Blueberry Clusters with TJ's Almond Milk...
Still recovering from yesterdays food disaster, I skipped lunch to prepare myself for the 'Tofu Reuben' $7 from The Randy Radish for dinner. Baked Tofu is marinated in Veggie Broth and Spices to take on a Corned Beef flavor. The Tofu is topped with house-made artisan Vegan Swiss! Sauerkraut and their own Smokey Reuben Dressing. Served on fresh-baked toasted Marble Rye. This was inhaled.
A Jelly Donut from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut for dessert.
So today was a great food day. WFH tomorrow, but with all different grub.

I've never had corned beef, but I'm assuming corned beef-flavoured tofu is good.

I'm glad today was a better food day!! It looks amazing. Love the blueberry kashi and the reuben looks perfect as always. Can't go wrong finishing off the day with a perfect looking jelly donut.

So jealous of the WFH. I took off Saturday so I'll have a three day weekend. I'll be house sitting for my bro next week (Saturday through the following Saturday) so it's a three day weekend of cuddle time with Jack, Eddie and Tyler! Just what the Dr. ordered.

sounds like Randy Radish should move up to Brooklyn and overcharge.
I missed yesterday's post but those fruit gems! How did you know they were vegan? Did you google the ingredients first? Sometimes I wanna get skittles from the vending machine at work but i'm afraid they're from like 15 years ago pre-vegan.

Soho has almost no food options that don't suck for breakfast, what a bummer tho.
I could never make it from breakfast to dinner without even snacking- i would be a hangry person ready to eat my hand! That rueben is the epitome of gourmet vegan sandwiches there, down to the marble rye. A cubeless future sounds promising.

A day of good eats!
After seeing all your reuben sandwiches I have to find a place to try one.
The donut looks delicious!

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, Corned Beef is just extremely salty and dry. This Tofu isn't like that, which is a good thing.

VaVa, all those precious pics of Jack, Eddie and Tyler that I'll be missing;-( You can't post a single photo of Tyler's little button nose????

FF, the Randy Radish and Cinnamon Snail should trade locations for a month or so. I didn't think the Fruit Gems would have anything non-vegan in them. It was a risk I was willing to make. I've never had a Skittle in my life. Are you recommending them?

Unknown, what area in Manhattan has all the good Bagel shops? Around Times Square?

VGG, be very careful, you want your first Reuben experience to be positive.

I am SO JEALOUS of your tofu reuben. I have concluded that I don't like raw tempeh, thus tempeh reubens are blah. I do love tofu, so this has to be amazing. The picture alone has me wanting it.

Definitely a great food day! That reuben sounds amazing and following it with a donut just made things more perfect.

Ingrid & RVs, the Reuben is something to be jealous of. It is heaven on earth.
