A bowl of Pistachios for lunch that were so salty they were practically inedible. I ate them all anyway and it was like my mouth was burned for hours afterwards. Strange.
Boca Burgers with TJ's Fingerling Potatoes for dinner....
Goldenberg Peanut Chews for dessert healed my mouth. Hallelujah!
WFH grub tomorrow.

Oh, I've totally burned my tastebuds beyond the point of taste-recognition on salted nuts before.
But pistachios... how can you stop? You can't. That's the thing.
That sandwich is insane!! It looks soooooo delicious and I can imagine with was very filling. And the fact that it was on pumpernickel makes it that much better. Bummer about the salty pistachios but I'm glad you powered through ;)
Great looking breakfast. I have a hard time with really salty foods, too. Like you said, my mouth burns after.
Unless if they've changed something, everything Larsen's makes is vegan (Vegan Essentials carries several of their items). However, I looked at their website and can't believe how much they're charging online! A kringle from the Outpost is around $6 or $7......
I have not salty enough pistachios right now. Which is worse? Swap ya half for half?
oh that sandwich looks INCREDIBLE!!! and i hate "salt burns"...that's happened to me before. It's the worst!
Hey Now!!!!
Hannah, glad to know I'm not the only one who has done burned off my mouth with salt. It was my first time.
VaVa, guess you can't wash off Pistachios?
RVs, I see nowhere on the Larsen's site that says they're vegan at all. So you recommend the Kringle?
FF, Unsalted Pistachios are worthless. Worthless = Inedible. It's a push.
GFHTummy, I feel so lame. I've never eaten anything so salty before like that in my life. What else is everyone eating that I don't know about?
