Yesterdays breakfast was so delicious, I had it again today. Should have stocked up on more of this Scramble to go. Wish I knew how they made it so good....
Still no Corn from my CSA, so I just bought some local ears at WF's this afternoon to have with Boca Chik'n Patties for dinner....
Newman's Own Cinnamon Hermits for dessert...
And that's all she wrote (because she couldn't think of anything else to write).

Never heard of hermit cookies before! But, according to your link, they have molasses, so I approve.
Love that you went back! Tofu scrambles are always better when someone else makes them. And yay corn :) i just keep cutting it off the cob raw into salads right now. I forgot about those hermit cookies- they taste kinda christmas-y to me. Their fig newmans are good stuff too.
And dill! Only dill! Sweet pickles i can only tolerate in the smallest amount of relish....

How far is the LPQ from you?
Funny that you like the scramble so much; I've never had it but it looks kind of runny to me. I prefer scrambles a little firmer.
Do you eat it with the salad? Or separate?
I'm with Rockwood - raw corn in salads is so great in these late summer days.
Hopefully LPQ will put out a cookbook that includes the tofu scramble. It does look really good.
I've never had a hermit cookie but have heard of them before. It looks great!
I definitely don't blame you for going back for that tofu scramble. It always looks perfect. It looks creamy in the photos, I wonder how that all happens. Unless it is soft tofu? You and Ingrid are making me want to run out and get some corn. Mmmm. I've always been curious about those cookies too. They sound yummy! Have you tried the Newman's Own Fig newtons? I just got a random craving for fig newtons but I've never tried that brand.
Those cookies look so yummy! Definitely going to have to get some on my next trip to the market!
Hey Now!!!!
Hannah, if you don't like the Take 5 Bar, you may not like the Newman's Own Hermits. Can't predict your tastes.
Unknown, I've never cut Corn Off The Cob. I know it would fly everywhere. Dill Pickles it is.
FF, we live in exurbia so the restaurant (about 40 miles away) is near other places to hit up while in the area. Salad for breakfast isn't as weird as one would think, and runny Scramble is actually quite elegant. The combo works. You haven't done it yet?
RVs, well ain't you a smarty?! LPQ does have a big huge cookbook. I never thought to flip through it. Duh!
VaVa, Soft Tofu for a Scramble?! That is probably what they did. That is thinking outside the box. I may have tried the Newman's Own Fig Newtons a loooong time ago, but I don't remember anything about them. Unknown said they're good. I trust her opinion.
VGG, let me know if you try the Cookies and how you like them.
