WTF Wednesday

Nature's Path Flax Plus Raisin Bran Flakes with TJ's Almond Milk for breakfast...
A Field Roast Frankfurter with Mac & Cheese from Dawson's Market for lunch...
Dinner was the 'Mediterranean Picnic Sandwich' $7 from The Randy Radish. WW Baguette with Creamy Sun-dried Tomato and Walnut Pesto, Roasted Zucchini, Squash, Eggplant, Red Peppers and Baby Spinach...
Dessert was an item that has been sitting in my freezer for several years: A Rice Dream Mocha Pie. Wish I'd brushed off the frost before photographing it, but it held up surprisingly well.
More WFH grub tomorrow.

How was the ice cream sandwich/pie? I have had the mint one and it's pretty good but I've been curious about the mocha. The sandwich sounds amazing and the mac n cheese makes me drool every time.

Mmm. . .both lunch and dinner look really appealing. I've had that Rice Dream Pie before, and I find they always taste good. It was actually my first vegan dessert after giving up dairy - and I thought: "holy sh!t, why did wait so long? This is amazing!". Or something like that.

I really like tj's almond milk, i always stock up when i go. How is that cereal? Does it stay crispy? Fancy sauce on your frank there!
And yes, that sandwich looks like it has spinach- and a great stuff to bread ratio.
Your ice cream pie really is dreamy- i could not imagine knowing that was in my freezer and avoid having some for so long!

And no, candle cafe is required eating here- honest i would suggest pure food and wine's pre-fixe lunch over blossom just for a fancy thing (and amazing cocktails) but in between restaurant meals you could go on a research mission to uncovered the best bagel and vegan 'fu schmear and be busy and full for days.

For some reason I can't stop laughing at yr lunch photo. It's way more obscene than yr morning bananas.

Hey Now!!!

Hannah, you would love a FRESH Rice Dream Mocha Pie. A freezer-burned one, probably not so much.

VaVa, I need to stock up on more Rice Dream Pies. They really need to be touted more.

Ingrid, I agree. Why don't I eat the Rice Dream Novelties more often? Shame on me!

Unknown, you make it sound so simple to get around and eat in NYC. Ever since Hilaria bagged Alec at Pure Food & Wine, I've kinda soured on the place. But at least that's one item off my bucket list.

FF, yeah, that Frankfurter is coming at yah like a freight train.
