Saturday, August 24th

'Tofu Scramble' $9.95 at Le Pain Quotidien for breakfast. I checked both LPQ Cookbooks on display and the recipe for this or any other Tofu Scramble wasn't in either one. Beautiful books though.
Lunch was off the WF's Salad Bar: 'Corn & Avocado Salad' (basically Guac and Corn) and 'Kale Salad with Garlicky Dressing' (because it reminded me of Ingrid)...
WF's Sesame Grilled Tofu with Roasted CSA Tomatoes and Squash for dinner...
PPK Marbled Banana Bread for dessert. The below swirl might be the greatest thing I've ever done in my life. I suppose it's all downhill after this...
What deliciousness will tomorrow bring? Tune in to find out.

The swirl looks like a smile.

That scramble looks so delicious! It feels good to be getting back to normal and looking at what other people eat and commenting on it. Wait, is that normal?

The swirl is definitely very impressive!! That tofu scramble is also a work of art. How did you like the corn and avocado salad? I'm torn on it. I am thinking I would make a yummy salad with corn, fresh chunks of avocado and some cherry tomatoes. That would be very yummy I think :) Beautiful looking dinner too. Another delicious food day!

But did you love the kale with garlicky dressing? I bet it was fantastic!

I can't deal with the banana bread. It is perfection.

Also: my "prove you're not a robot" code is 89 year ADD. So do I add 89, or does an 89 year old have ADD?

Love that tofu scramble- i just wish they had it all day long!
Lunch sounds great! Kind of odd that it wasn't chopped avocado with the corn but whatevs. Was tha kale cooked and cold or raw? Your neverending supply of tomatoes is enviable. And you're lucky to have the gorgeous banana bread to yourself- i havent heard of someone who was the opposite of my banana tastes before, thats funny.

The salad from whole foods looks interesting.

And The swirl in the bread looks very professional!

I'll try and post some of my meals or items I find at the market. I have to figure out what I want to do.

Corn and avocado is a great combination. Everything looks delicious.
It's been far too long since I've had a kale salad; no idea why. Next week I'm doing a raw cleanse so that'll have to change. How was the dressing?

That is quite the lovely swirl! Too bad about the scramble recipe not being in either book, but I'm glad you could enjoy it for breakfast anyway.

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, I may not be able to eat the rest of the Banana Bread. I don't want to eat the smile.

Blessed Mama, it's only normal to comment on what people eat when the people have a little box that says 'Leave Your Comment' below the myriad pics of their food.

Sarah, what's not to love about Corn and Avocado?! There is no doubt your Salad would be yummy.

Ingrid, the Kale Salad was very enjoyable. Lots of chewing though. An 89 year old with ADD sounds like someone who would get on my last nerve.

Unknown, the Kale Salad was raw and cold. So happy I'm not alone in my love of LPQ Tofu Scramble. If only they would add Potatoes to the menu. But the Salad is tasty.

VGG, practice makes perfect. Just look at my blog!

FF, WFs did a nice job with the dressing. I should've taken a pic of the ingredient list. I know there was nooch.

RVs, it was a brilliant idea to check the Cookbooks. Maybe the Scramble recipe will be in the next one.
