Looking back, I see it was a good food day, but tomorrow I'm definitely eating out.

This is one absolutely perfect food day! Bagels are always going to be my fav and your salad looks phenomenal! Your oven fries look really good too! How did you get them so crispy? Mine never come out that nice.

Yay, you made the banana bread! :)

I agree with Sarah, such a delicious day! That salad is so colorful and the bread looks amazing. I've made that before but it's been a long time. I remember it being really good, though.

Look at that gorgeous swirl! Nicely done on the banana bread. Likewise, you cut the potato into perfect fry shape! I need to step up my game in the kitchen. ;)

But where will she eat out tomorrow?!

Those TJ bagels are legit, especially toasted with the improving schmear technique you're achieving.
Awesome looking salad. You are putting me to shame.
Swirling that banana bread is the best part of the recipe! Although mine never get quite that swirly. Nice job.

Totally legit schmear on the bagel there. And very resourceful lunch! I'm sure your csa lettuce kicks salad bar lettuce butt. Those little yellow tomatoes are my crack right now.
And your dinner fries look super professional! Did those get ketchup too?
I am also super impressed by the swirling on the banana bread. Altho i am anti-banana i am pro-banana bread. Kinda like the people who hate vegetables and love carrot cake ;)

I would like to eat out at your place if this is what's on offer.

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, no clue how the Fries came out so crispy. They did turn out unusually well. I was impressed with my own cooking.

RVs, you might want to make one or two of these Banana Breads to take on the road. So compact.

Ingrid, really wish I knew how the swirl and Fries came out so well. Can't explain it. Same old same old today. Nothing you haven't seen before.

FF, I didn't even know of the existence of the Marbled Banana Bread Recipe till you made it. No clue how I schmeared and swirled so well yesterday. I just did. It was my day to schmear and swirl.

Unknown, I've given up trying to achieve a legit schmear. It's not in my wheelhouse. Mr. SV is the opposite of you re: Bananas. He loves Bananas raw, but hates them in anything else. Yep ketchup on the Fries. The swirl did come out surprisingly well. Don't know why.

Hannah, I can see how if the grub I ate yesterday was served in a restaurant, it would be a positive thing. Couldn't charge much for it, though.
